Majesty Questions

Recommended Posts

We haven't been on a smaller/older RC ship in years and have some questions....on our past cruises on the Oasis class ships, we dine nightly in specialty restaurants only the Majesty doesn't have any so if you don't mind helping us with a few questions it be greatly appreciated.

1- What time is the MDR open till for breakfast on sea and port days?

2- What time is the windjammer open for lunch until? Our tour in Cuba is 9am-3pm and wondering besides pizza if there is anything else to eat at 3-5pm?

3- After midnight is the cafe open for late night snacks or sandwiches, anything else besides pizza to eat?

4- Do you find the buffets to be lacking in quality and selection since its a smaller ship?

5- Does anybody have the MDR menus for the 5 night cruise?

We were on the Majesty earlier this year, and really loved the MDR. We had late seating (a first for us), and were travelling with 3 young adults who HAD to eat several times a day. We did go to the Compass deli in the mid to late afternoon for a salad, soup or small sandwich to keep them going. We also stopped into the Windjammer right after it opened for dinner to see what was there, and usually to sample a couple of things so the boys didn't faint from hunger.

Does the Majesty of the Seas host a Captains Table?

We were at Captain Goran Peterson's table in September '17 and tables with Hotel Director and F&B since then. None since she moved to Tampa!

Thanks for your info.

We also had dinner with Captain Goran Peterson last September. Can't recall who all were there. Maybe we were there together.

Majesty used to be such a fun ship, with great staff and crew, dinner tables, special events on the island, at Top Tier event all top cruisers were recognized, not just one or two.

Hear they now hold a lunch with the officers for the top tier. That could be a fun event. We sail her on the 20th.

JD, Francois, Shane, MJ misses you.

Rick, we were on September 20th. Agree with your comments. We did the Top Tier meal in June and it was great.
