reedprincess Posted October 17, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 17, 2016 Just got a brochure with a picture of the "Majestic Princess" in it. PLEEZEEEE Princess.....leave the hull art to NCL! Perhaps you should check out the Royal Princess then, as it now has the hull art and is sailing away for Princess..... personally, I think it looks great and am looking forward to seeing it across the fleet (which is the current plan).. Bill B Posted October 17, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 17, 2016 I don't know if I like it or not. However, with the new livery, I am sure Princess ships will be identifiable as being Princess ships at a much greater distance than before.
msmoger Posted October 17, 2016 #5 Share Posted October 17, 2016 This has been discussed for awhile on multiple threads. Some folks like it (me being one ;)) and others, not so much (I put you in that group :D).
Chris86 Posted October 17, 2016 #6 Share Posted October 17, 2016 Interesting to see the sun princess didnt receive the art during her april refurb. Probably a sign it was her last refurb before sold?
skynight Posted October 17, 2016 #7 Share Posted October 17, 2016 Hull art or no hull art, surely the cruise experience will be the same.
Pam in CA Posted October 17, 2016 #8 Share Posted October 17, 2016 Interesting to see the sun princess didnt receive the art during her april refurb. Probably a sign it was her last refurb before sold? The design wasn't finalized until well after the Sun Princess's dry dock schedule was set. The Majestic was the first and the re painting will roll out over the next year or two. Having seen the various designs being considered, I think the final design is distinctive and much classier than on other lines. It's just the bow of the ship... not the whole side. I like it. fishywood Posted October 17, 2016 #9 Share Posted October 17, 2016 I guess your thread from two months ago wasn't a satisfying enough rant for you: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2386860 Get over it and move on.

joeyancho Posted October 18, 2016 #11 Share Posted October 18, 2016 As long as I am on the ship, I don't care if they paint flames down the side.
