There are just the two dam ships in Port Everglades. We say goodbye to the Koningsdam as she heads to Europe.

 

The Koningsdam is at Pier 26 and the Veendam at Pier 21. Both are scheduled to depart at 16:00/4:00 PM EDT. Times are subject to change as always.

Veendam running very late, on the tracker she is even with Miami area and she is supposed to be docked now.

 

She's moving right along - maybe a search and rescue or some really bad weather - though I haven't heard of any. The waves are really splashing up in the channel and on the beach.

 

 

ETA: Port schedule has her arriving at sea buoy at 8:30 am

Yes, I think it is too early to reposition to the Med as well, but the Caribbean fares are low. Carnival and Royal seem to do fine with the family trade, but not so much HAL and the senior lines.

 

 

Maybe Easter and Spring Break being early - has something to do with it, also. JMO

This is why I like my 4-star perk. I usually get off late, but if something like this happens, I can get off as soon as they call the 4/5-star, suite people.
