Probably Equinox will go to the Greek Islands.

Celebrity are concentrating more ships now in the Caribbean rather than Europe. Summit and Solstice have been pulled out of Europe. Sister companies RCL have 10 ships in Europe 2011 and Pullmantur have 4 (the ex-Celebrity Horizon and Zenith and the ex-RCL Empress and Sovereign).

Eclipse :

Sat 12 Nov 2011 Miami, Florida 07:00 AM

Hi Everyone !

Interesting to see that Eclipse is likely back in the Caribbean again for Winter 2011. I'm curious to see if her itineraries will be different, or more of the same. Only a few more weeks to go for Caribbean deployment news (Week of 4/5 and 4/12).

I'm hoping they will offer the Rountrip British Isles 12 night again in 2011.

Chessbriar, do you think I'm hoping in vain? We have a group of 12 that want to do that itinerary.

I'm not going to speculate, just post what I find. But do you think X would really put two ships in South Hampton? Only time will tell

Makes sense if the rumors are true of Silhouette homeporting in Bayonne

Beachnative, we did the Crown Princess 12 night British Isles cruise last summer. We would've loved to have done that itinerary on Celebrity, but since it wasn't available last summer, we went on Princess. It was a great cruise and we enjoyed all the ports. The Crown will be repeating that itinerary in 2011.

Now I'm anxiously awaiting the Celebrity 2011 Mediterranean itineraries. I'm hoping they offer the same itinerary the Equinox is doing this June, which is a RT from Rome that goes to Istanbul.

Ditto. We want the combo of Istanbul, Kusadasi, Santorini, and Mykonos. Had to cancel it for this year, so we want to do it next year.

We are finding this 'slow release' of dates very difficult. We have a hold on a cabin on the Eclipse but would prefer to see the itinerary for the Equinox and possibly the Silhouette before deciding. If we pay the deposit for the Eclipse and then want to transfer to the Equinox or Silhouette it will cost us £300 (£75pp). If we wait we might lose the cabin we want. Booking conditions in the UK are a nightmare.

chessbriar:

I was so excited to be reading your posts that I forgot that I was on the Celebrity site instead of the Princess one.:o We currently are booked on the Solstice for July (first time on a Celebrity ship) and I've been reading a lot of the Celebrity threads. As you said, I certainly wouldn't expect two ships...although it would be wonderful because we are becoming Celebrity converts due to their smoking policy.

junglejane:

The cruise you describe IS the one we are hoping will be offered again. We are eager to see if they will also offer the itinerary that goes to the fjords of Norway and that they can be linked as a B2B.

I've been wondering how long it would take me before I got the boards confused.:o We also have three RCCL cruises booked therefore I'll have to be very careful when replying. Please excuse my error.

As a post note: I have found the tone on this Celebrity site to be very pleasant and am enjoying my reading of them. Y'all are awesome!:)

Beachnative, have you seen Globaliser's post about the Princess itineraries for Europe? Look here and open the attachment: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?p=23563149#post23563149 . You will see that you can do the British Isles and North Cape/Norwegian Fjords as B2B's in June and July.

Princess does not have the itinerary I want, so I'm waiting for Celebrity with fingers and toes crossed.:)

I sooo hope Celebrity offers a British Isles cruise in 2011. It is on the top of my list and for now only HAL has an itinerary that interests me (well , Crystal does too , but with the kids , won´t be happening). Ohh , just saw the comments from Junglejane

I looked at the Princess itineraries (thanks to Junglejane)and they look great! But I hope Celebrity gets in the game!

You're welcome to Beachnative and Brazilgirl. We really loved the Crown Princess British Isles itinerary. The ship was maybe a little bigger than we would've liked (we loved the Summit) but overall it was a wonderful cruise. We had a very active Roll Call and did all private tours except for Le Havre where DH took the ship tour to Normandy.

Now where are those Celebrity itineraries . . .:D
