A bit disappointed:

No 10-14 night cruises from San Juan

Millennium goes on short cruises

to less dates for Western caribbean

7 night Eastern caribbean only 3 ports (dep. port not included)

4 ports on Eastern. Eclipse does two runs one with St Thomas and one with St Kitts

I was sad to see ML leave San Juan as well. It's one of the best itineraries out there and San Juan airport is very nice on Mondays and Fridays

I'm planning my honeymoon for May 2011. If I want a Caribbean cruise, there are 0 options on Celebrity, fleet wide. Am I reading this all correctly?

Keep in mind, last year X released their itineraries then about 2 months later pulled two ships back to the Caribbean. Then later sent CN back to Europe.

I would not be surprised to see one of the S class ships come back.

With nothing yet released for Mercury, it could mean one of 2 things, she is going to TUI in May 2011 or they had plans to send her and due to economy putting it off of another year and are trying to create itineraries for her.

We'll see what happens. Nothing is set in stone

I posted almost the exact same guess as to deployments a few days agon on another thread ....... The only thing I got "wrong" was the itins for Eclipse and Equinox. I guessed Eclipse on 10/11 nighters and Exquinox on 7 nighters.

I am saddened to see "X" pulling out of BWI/CHS and also eliminating longer cruises from SJU, but they have to compromise somewhere and those seem to be the most challenging yield wise.

I am more and more thinking that Mercury's last "hoorah" will be a 14-17 night Transatlantic Charleston-Hamburg on April 22nd 2011, then she will go into the shipyard for her refit into "Mein Schiff 2" for TUI ......:( It makes sense to refit her in the spring so TUI can get a full summer of top yiedling cruises out of her before the lower yielding winter season.

Just noticed in the press release that the Century is being sent to BWI for winter 11/12 bookended by 2 mini-seasons of Hawaii Cruises :D no word on CHS cruises though

Appears "X" will not return to Oz as rumored ........

I am excited :D to hear Century is coming to Baltimore. :( Sad to see Mercury go, but still excited to hear we have Celebrity sailing from Baltimore for another year. When will we see schedules?

Hi Lois !

Century to Baltimore for 12 night Caribbean is fact. It seems to be ominous for Mercury's future, as there is no mention of Mercury, but we will have to wait and see what Celebrity has to say about that.

I'm starting to think at least a part of the big delay of the itineraries, was the change of Century, from (supposedly) Australia/NZ, to the Baltimore 12 night Caribbean itineraries.

Here's the info about Baltimore from the Press Release :

For the first time, Celebrity Century – which underwent a significant revitalization in 2006, including the addition of 314 new stateroom verandas, a Murano specialty restaurant and the first "Ice Martini Bar" at sea – will present a season of 12-night Eastern Caribbean sailings out of Baltimore. The Caribbean season will be bookended by two Hawaii "mini-seasons" – one in the fall and one in spring – and also will include two special Panama Canal sailings between Baltimore to San Diego. These itineraries will open for sale in the coming weeks.

I will keep that in mind, thank you. I don't need to book anything right now but wanted to get an idea of what is available while I'm doing all my wedding planning. Right now there's very little available on any line that really fits what we're looking for. Guess we might have to change what we're looking for!! :)
