Hi there - my 4th cruise is coming up in December - Jewel of the Seas - departing Ft Lauderdale on 24 December - returning on 3 January - 10 glorious days at sea and I can hardly wait.

Anyone out there done this cruise before? This will be my 2nd time on RCCL.

Hi,:) yes I had a partial view of both Las Olas Blvd and the Intercoastal

Waterway. No, I did not find the pool but I never looked for it;)

I agree with Lois. Had a lovely stay at the Riverside. We were upgraded to an 11th floor corner room with a wrap around balcony. Fantastic views and we were able to watch the Oasis sailaway on Saturday.

 

As I approached the front desk for checkout, they actually called me by name. A very personal touch that I loved. Beautiful hotel and very, very clean.

How far is the beach from the Riverside? We're going to spend 4 days in Ft L before a Friday cruise and were hoping to spend some time on the beach.

 

Did you know that the hotels have absolutely no idea how much you spend on their hotel through Priceline or any other third party contractor? So the lower you can bid, the better - then the upgrade for that extra $30 will still be worth it.

About 2-3 miles. You can take one bus straight there, as well as the Sun Trolley.
