Hi:) Garry, thanks for that shot! I must have missed it earlier.

PJ, thanks. I have no doubt I will have a wonderful time, whoever the Restaurant Manager is;)

It is just fun going on a ship when you know some of the crew!

And I will offer the same thing Dan did too. IF there are any questions or people who ya'll want to say hello to, please let me know and I will pass on any messages:)

If you are trying to decide on a cabin location in the future, aft facing cabins are OUTSTANDING....larger than standard and a divider between the sleeping and sitting areas.

Danno, which deck? We're sailing on 4/23 and have an aft suite on the Penthouse deck, and I haven't been able to obtain ANY info on these suites!!

Hope you're enjoying good weather!

It's one of those "aft anomolies" that Celebrity ships are so well known for:

Century Suite - Deluxe mini-suite with floor-to-ceiling windows/sliding glass door, double bed, sofa bed with sitting area, VCR, veranda. (220 square feet; veranda 69 square feet). There's only 9 on the ship. It's almost as big as a Sky Suite. Here's Celebrity's page on it:

Actually those suites back there on the Century are closer to normal sized cabins than they are to Sky Suites. Same goes for the balcony which is pretty small. What sets this cabin apart from the others on the Century is the fact that they have balconies which are pretty rare.

We stayed right below those cabins on our first cruise with Celebrity during the Century's inaugural season. We were in one of the nine family cabins beneath. Back then the Century Suite was simply classifed as a balcony cabin. It was upgraded to suite status a few years later.

Lois - I doubt she would remember, they have so many people go through, but if you're in the martini bar say hello to Ava for me. She makes the absolute best martinis of anyone. Especially the Limon ones.

Hi guys!! Just got up!! It's been a long time since I slept in to 8am....things have been great. The food is very good and the clientel seems to be a nice mix. Only one moron I saw show up at formal dinner in jeans and a t-shirt...he seemed to be having quite a candid conversation with one of the managers...didn't see the resolution.

The weather has been great except for HIGH winds...spray everywhere and it's hard to spend much time outside...where do I go to get compensation...should I agree to money or a free cruise ;) ?

Lois...I'll pursue your request in the next couple of days. Newt...they are building a "plank", port side in anticipation of your cruising this ship one day. Duck...you would not enjoy this cruise. It's quiet, restful, cold beer abounds...not your thing :D .

See ya...oh, I was outside and it was spray, lots of spray!!

Hi Danno, Jill, Matt:

Happy you are having such great weather. High winds are my favourite type of cruise:D. You'll be happy to know that after Friday/Saturday's 10cm of snow we had another 15cm dumped on us last night. The dogs love it. DH is, like many of the neighbours, creating hugh plumes of snow with the snowblower--I don't see a smile on any faces out there. Hardly seems worth it - rain is forecast for this afternoon and night.

Enjoy the rewards of your "I-never-smoked-but-if-I-had-it-would-have-cost-me this" jar.

Terry:)

Just off Century last week. Had a great time. I was wondering if you would do me a favor? Could you go to the casino and ask for pit boss Randall and tell him that Danielle said hi, and also ask him if he received my envelope. If you could do this it would be much appreciated........

Thank You.

Danno, I'm sure you read the posts by ole Sammiedawg about the demise of the Century. Please beware of all the shop warn condition, dirt, roaches, filth, and don't forget your clipboard to take notes on all the problems you find (that's what ole Sammiedawg did on his cruise vacation). To heck with the cruise and trying to have a vacation, look for anything negative you can report on, and by the way you can exaggerate, embellish and do whatever you want for a more stark negative effect! Seriously... have a wonderful time.

Danno,

Glad to hear there is not rain. Oh, and please just look for all those awful things, but you don't need to tell us about them. LOL We loved it as well. And when you see Erol tell him hi from John and PJ as well as Lois. And if he knows where Alex is, tell him to say hi from us, if you don't mind. Lois is one of his favorites, and I am sure we can tell why.

Sounds like you are enjoying the time. Thanks again for spending the time and $$ to write to us along the way.

PJ:) thank you.

I forgot you told me Alex is on there too! He was the Bar Manager when I sailed her last year.

Boy, do you see a pattern here?;) I love the food and beverage people!

Danno, glad you are enjoying the cruise. If you run into Shawn Crasto - Cabin Attendant or Larry - Head Sommilier tell them to contact us, it is greatly appreciated. We wish we were with you...just got off the Millie, but it is never enough cruising for us; we want more. Have fun!

Just got back from St.Martin....I hate tendering, but the island was great and we found another print to frame for home. We try to find one piece each cruise, so we are delighted. The artist was there and signed it, a nice bonus.

Still haven't been able to find any fault with the condition of the ship...she doesn't look new, but she looks very well cared for. The food has been good...somedays too good. The waffle bar has proven to be a favorite....it becomes a deli bar later and that's even better!!

Must be fewer old CCer's this time...Jill and I are getting some kind of presentation tomorrow...I could live without it, but Jill enjoys it. I'll be the good hubby and play along :D ...the things I do!!

Matt is bored and he loves it...I think he needed a rest and this came at a good time.

I'll try to keep in touch...off to the deli!!

see ya
