Alright everyone, I am leaving in 2 (eek!) days on the fabulous Zuiderdam, bound for the eastern Caribbean.

I am looking for last minute advice, packing tips, things not to miss (Half Moon Cay, St. Thomas, Tortola, Naussau) and any general advice you are willing to share.

Thanks again for all your help!

As soon as I get done with these mid-terms I am on my way!

In St. Thomas, either go to Sapphire Beach by taxi or take the Red Hook ferry over to St. John's island and on to Trunk Bay for some fabulous snorkeling (along the rock croppings). Be sure to keep an eye on time and be back at the ship at least an hour before sailaway. Don't drink too much.

Don't forget to take your passport and ID.

Completely agree with the ferry to St.Johns. Trunk bay is the most beautiful beach I have ever been too. My family and I still considder our day at trunk our favorite (and we have been to over 20 different islands now!). I considder it a MUST! I'll be eagerly awaiting some feedback as soon as you return because we board the Zui in March! Have a great time.

I agree with everyone, Trunk Bay is a must see. In Tortola, I would take the ferry to Virgin Gorda and see the Baths. I was not overly impressed with Nassau. We did Senor Frogs (drinks are very expensive), the Straw Market (so-so unless you are into straw), and I was not fond of touring Atlantis. There are to many areas you can't see unless you are staying there. We walked around and spent some money in the casino. Hopefully, someone will have a good suggestion for you in Nassau.

Enjoy your cruise.

Go to your suitcase. Take out half the clothes. Go to your wallet. Insert double the money.

Keep an open mind regarding your surroundings, your fellow travelers, the countries you will visit, the crew of the ship.

Keep a smile on your face - it goes a long way to making your vacation more pleasant.

It's a privilege to be able to take this kind of vacation - don't take it lightly!

and lastly...

HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME!!!!

Just enjoy these last couple of days of anticipation. If you don't go to the Baths from Tortola, think about the Virgin Islands Sailaway Tour which is a wonderful catamaran sail across Sir Frances Drake Channel for some snorkelling and then some time on a wonderful beach.

Whatever you do, kick back, relax and have a great cruise.
