Loved your review and pics. Thank you and also to Trainman for letting others know how to post pics. Wish his instructions could be a "sticky".

The parade looks like alot of fun. We will be on LOS this month!

Thanks Loucat! I agree about Trainman. Eadio is just as good. Enjoy your trip on LOS.

I have not read Eadio (do you mean Radio?) but I will search on posts with that name.

Again, thanks to you to hype us up for LOS!!

Oops. Yeah, I meant Radio. He does great live reports.

Thought so! He and Trainman are both great, but I also love Brian Alt's recent thread on eating his way through Oasis. It was like eating along with he and his DW.

Your posting was also so appreciated!

FYI, Radio will be doing another live report on 5/22/11.

Awesome review. I loved all the pics and especially liked the ending w/the lime wedge. Sounds like you had a great time. Oh, I always see those signs in the casino stating what was paid out on the slots, and I just never see people winning like that! Oh, well, it's still fun.

I was wondering people's thoughts on the Liberty 2/19 cruise about the kids running around unattended throughout the entire cruise. I was shocked to see the number of lids and teenagers running around the ship at all times of the day and night - thoughts and comments?

That's what teens do. My boys made friends with a bunch of other kids and they just wandered around with them. The teen club was dominated by older teens who did not want the younger teens around. That is why I really think RCI should show at least 2 movies on the big screen on the Lido at night. Gives the teens a place to hang out.

I understand that this is what teens do but there were also 9-11 year old kids running round taking the elevator up and down the ship. I am sorry but these kids are too young t be out at midnight by themselves IMO.

I know this is a sensitive issue. My kids know that if I find out that they are doing anything to disturb someone else's vacation, their vacation is over. Period. My guys actually hung out in the library because it was empty and it had nice comfy chairs. We would check on them and they were just hanging out with a group of kids talking.

Casino: Unfortunately spent a lot of time here. Really didn’t lose much. But met nice people and had great fun. Never played the slots, but saw this:

And took this picture on the last night of the cruise:

How can this be?

...because they took IN $2M

Sorry to here that the vibe was not more upbeat in regards to the entertainmet. We sailed 2 /5/11 LOS with Mike S *##ski asCruise Director and had a blast. He was by far the most vissible CD I have yet to see.

I must agree that Mike Sj;ldkas;lkf9878#$%$ski is one of the best CDs we've ever had the pleasure to meet.

He was everywhere and made our cruise a blast.

Next morning, we woke up to this:

Liberty is closest to us.

Hey! When we went on the Majesty this past August, we stayed right over there at the Doubletree! What an awesome view/spot. Loved waking up and seeing the ships! Great review!

I thought about that, but then they didn't make too much money. Plus, just the volume it would take to get to 2 mil in 8 days, I don't buy it.

Casino returns aren't as high as everyone thinks. It's just that they are guaranteed that rate of return.

I usually bet about $100/night. Multiple that by 2000 people-that's $1M in 5 days...

For bigger ships and high rollers it is conceivable they could do $2M in a week easily. At a 5% rate of return for the ship they'd pay out $1.9M. So the sign you saw is entirely plausible
