I don't have a great camera, so most of my photos can't compare to the ones posted already, but here's a couple I like...

This hunk of ice was floating in the lake at Mendenhall Glacier

Here's the top 3 pics from our Aug 2012 Alaska cruisetour on Coral Princess.

This was an eagle soaring right past our balcony while we were parked at the Margerie glacier...

This was a bear practically posing for us as we're walking out of the woods near the entrance to Chilkoot Lake near Haines...

An orca (killer) whale passing right by our balcony in Glacier Bay...

I love this one! :D

My jaw dropped when we walked out of the woods and I looked to my right and saw him standing like that. We knew he was in the area (we'd seen him earlier). Luckily I had my camera fully ready. Actually got about 30 shots of him dropping down from the sign and strolling across the road. But that was the best one. His pose and the look on his face is priceless!

I am really enjoying this thread. The last thread I saw similar to this, most posters gave the link to their photos. I am enjoying seeing the actual photos within the thread so much better. Thanks, OP for starting this, and thanks to all who have taken the time to post their photos within the post.

Wow they looked so much better is full size. I'm not sure how to attach them correctly, so they aren't thumbnails.

The following thread explains how to post photos. I found POST #10 to be very helpful to me, and that is how I do it. PErhaps if you read the thread, you will find something that is helpful to you.

Suggestion---can you post what kind of camera and size zoom lens for any future posts? I have a new one and am inexperienced with anything other than a point and shoot!

Loving the pics. We are going on our 2nd Alaskan cruise in Sept. I have to learn this camera before then!
