My jaw dropped when we walked out of the woods and I looked to my right and saw him standing like that. We knew he was in the area (we'd seen him earlier). Luckily I had my camera fully ready. Actually got about 30 shots of him dropping down from the sign and strolling across the road. But that was the best one. His pose and the look on his face is priceless!

I am really enjoying this thread. The last thread I saw similar to this, most posters gave the link to their photos. I am enjoying seeing the actual photos within the thread so much better. both these shots were taken when sea kayaking at Icy Straight Point, Alaska. Thoroughly enjoyed the excursion and it was on the cheaper one's we went on.

Suggestion---can you post what kind of camera and size zoom lens for any future posts? I have a new one and am inexperienced with anything other than a point and shoot!

 

Loving the pics. We are going on our 2nd Alaskan cruise in Sept. I have to learn this camera before then!
