Just returned from an outstanding week aboard the Freedom of the Seas and I can't say enough about Rahul Barua. He just made all of his guests feel like he was giving each of us 100% of his time. Rahul you demonstrate why RCCL is what it is and why we are loyal to Royal!!!!!!!!

He is fantastic -- hope he is our concierge on our next 3 FR cruises.

Just noticed Marcello Mello as FR Diamond Lounge Concierge. What happened to Verdine? What do folks know about Marcello?

Verdine is back at Guest Services.....dont know a thing about Marcello..he just started in the DL this past Sunday..

Marcello Mello is a sweetheart, and will do anything he can for you, and he is attractive to add to the mix. Along with Willie and Rahul, the Freedom has a trifecta

They had one when Amit was there too. It seems Freedom is the standard to which all ships should aspire. Can't tell you of the number of conversations I have heard that verify this.

Truffles2, you're absolutely right. I am going to miss Amit. He was so special. The new trio is also terrific. It really doesn't get any better. Guess that's why the Freedom is this toads fav ship

I was on Freedom last week as well and agree with you 100%. AND Aston & Orville were very good bar folks as well!!

 

Just noticed Marcello Mello as FR Diamond Lounge Concierge. What happened to Verdine? What do folks know about Marcello?

I did not go to the D lounge, but Marcello came down to the CL one night and visited and then I saw him later at guest services and he remembered me and visited some more. He seemed very nice.

Thanks.......I really needed an update on that ship.........hard to come by.after your cruise,can you let me know ,for sure who is in the DL and if possible for how long.....thanks
