Does X offer OBC for booking on the ship?

February will be our first cruise on X. Other lines offer a combination of OBC and reduced deposits if you book the next cruise on while on the ship. Does X do anything similar?

Yes, they do. It's a reduced deposit ($100/pp) and an onboard credit (the amount of the OBC depends on the cruise length).

You can also get a "Family and Friends" certificate for two others who may decide to join you and they will get the same reduced deposit and OBC.

Yes, you may book or buy an open passage. OBC is related to the cruise lenght. The open passage let's you decide later for only $100. and never expires.:D

Be careful, though. If for any reason you cancel your cruise after booking under Passages program, your $100 is lost unless you immediately move it to another sailing. Also, many oher savings programs including Amex Platinum benefits and some spepcials are not combinable with Passages program. iMHO the main advantage is reduced deposit; most of the time the OBC credit can be obtained through other promotions and discount programs without risking your hundred bucks.

I just went on the Millinnium a couple weeks ago, cost less than $500 for 2 of us, booked a 10 night Equinox for this xmas (2 cabins) & they will give us $200 per stateroom OBC....sooo, in my calculation, the Millie cruise was "practically" free (well, if you don't count the bar tab...)!

P.S. We booked 2 cabins on the Equinox (1 for us & 1 for our kids); they did not seem to care that the kids were not onboard, guess they only cared that were were the ones booking & paying!
