Who remembers this, from 1977?

Down in Jamaica dance.gif

they got lots of pretty women

Steal your money

then they break your heart aniheart.gif

Lonesome Sue

She's in love with ol' Sam

She take him from the fire

into the frying pan

On and onpalmtree.gif

She just keeps on trying

and she smiles

when she feels like crying

On and on...

Steven Bishop sang that one.

"My Heart Will Go On".

Theme from Poseidon Adventure.

"Nearer My God To Thee".

Oh, wait, these are my LEAST favorite songs to hear on a cruise ship. ;)

I plan on listening to "Leaving Port" from the Titanic soundtrack during sailaway. Some might think it's tempting fate, but the song is just so stirring: gets me ready for the adventure!

Under a beautiful blue sky and sun as big as - P n O's Jewel sailed under the Sydney Harbour Bridge - hoisted up in a cage above the ship was one of the Sailaway band with mike in hand doing a great job of AC DC - It's A Long Way To The Top - the cage was almost touching the bottom of the bridge - with 3 huge blasts from the ships funnels all of Sydney felt like it came to a standstill - The Bridge Climbers were waving furiously as the band rocked the whole harbour

On my piano I do love playing 'Beyond The Sea'....:cool:

I'm pretty sure that's why Bluto smashed his guitar. ;)
