Has anyone cruised in one of these cabins recently who can update this thread? Pictures would be nice :)

Also, for anyone cruising in one of these cabins before December, can I bother you for pictures of your cabin and the hallway, particularly the area near 3112?

thanks!

We sail in May and have 2 of those rooms so I can take some and post on our return.:)

Yes, please do! We have 3132 booked and I'm curious if this section of rooms are still as nice as they were right after refurbishment.

  • 1 month later...

Just wondering if anyone has any recent or better pictures of these "new" staterooms.

We booked an Oceanview Guarantee stateroom for our August cruise on Infinity and we were very happy with our assigned Cat 6 stateroom (3011).

However, we noticed this morning that 3112 had become available and our TA has just managed to get this stateroom for us.

I have seen the pics on Celebrity's facebook page but would love to see better or more recent pics and any comments regarding these rooms and specifically 3112.

Hi, Lois,

We're booked in #3140 for the Cnda/NewEngland voyage in September.

Were you ''sleeping backwards'' or ''forward'' ? Any motion if your seas were a little ''alive'' ? While that location is not 100% aft...it is well past mid-ship....

Any noise at all from the galley, located 3 staterooms down towards aft ? I know the dividers are solid and thick but just wondering.

When sailing on Millie last September, we observed how superbly quiet and insulated this whole new bank of OV was. We had a balcony then but quickly made ''a note to self'' for future cruises....

Thanks in advance for your ''first hand review''.

Cheers

OMG...I am sorry, I never came back here to answer your question:eek:

I ended up with a balcony on the cruise I took back in November

BUT I am going on Summit again in August~sailing to Bermuda and

this time I am in one of these window cabins...#3142.....if you

are still looking for information? Please give me nudge after

August 11th:)

sailing on Summit in August and have 3142:)

Hi Lois.

I did see the pics but thought that they were just small pics of the window & closet. I didn't notice the link to the pics which we have now just seen.

Thanks for the pointing this out.

I read that 3112 has a slightly larger entrance due to the position of the door so I'd love to see pictures.

Based on input from Wine-O, who stayed in 3112 earlier in the year, I modified the deck plan to show the position of the door for 3112 and also the entry door into that hallway.

I'm also sailing in August and will get photos of the room (#3132). I'm curious to see how the rooms have weathered the 1 year post-refurbishment period, if they still look and feel "new".

I am so excited to see that huge round window!

I will be disembarking as you are getting ready to sail. I will try to

keep a seat warm at the Martini Bar for you;):D:)

Hi Lois R, we sailed along with you on the Silhouette back in April western Caribbean. We sat right behind you on the bar hop.

My question to all is, we are doing the southern Caribbean April 2014 on the Summit, how are the oceanview rooms, decks 6-9? They are all forward.

Hi:)...I remember your screen name but not sure we met. I did not

go on the Bar hop so you have me confused with someone else;)

As for SUMMIT? Yes, those decks only have window cabins all the

way forward.

My bad. You are correct on both instances. We never met personally, just through CC, and she goes by Ruthie of the Seas
