Marina day

I have no idea which ship Captain Dexter is helming, but they are having a marina day in the Med. Banana boats are up and running.

JohnyJet's thread 'A new Seabourn blog' on day 8 has a few photos of the marina day on the Spirit last Saturday in the Adriatic. It looks like they got a cracking day for it.

How many Marina Days might one have on the 10 day Legend cruise on the 16 of Jan?

In the Caribbean you are more likely to have a beach BBQ day than a marina day.

But with the Beach BBQ, the 'toys' are available for use from the beach, I think.

I am pretty sure that you are right - maybe someone with more knowledge will respond, but it does seem logical that it is unlikely that the marina could be deployed when the ship is docked.

If there are any 7 day cruises left, seems to be that either one has a Beach BBQ or the Rock the Boat Deck Buffet and Dancing. Both are so very labor intensive for the staff. I prefer the Deck party and remaining onboard for the Beach Party, BTDT, with hardly a soul left on board.

Forget about the marina day, I'll take a beach barbeque and caviar in the surf anytime. These are one of my favourite days during a cruise.

But I'm a first time Seaboun cruiser.

Will have 5 days pre-cruise in

Marina 'Bay' Sands in Singapore in December.(:-)))
