Hi Radio! We have had the good fortuune to sail with Trainman on 2 cruses, now it looks like we get to sail with you on the Grandeur to Bermuda! Guess we must be living right-YAY!!

Dang the luck! I waited and waited as the Vision sat at the dock way beyond the five PM sailaway time, then six pm, then got a phone call about six-thirty that went on and on. In the mean time, my computer froze up and I missed the actual sailaway. Boo hoo!:(

 

Anyway, I'll be reading your updates and will be vicariously enjoying every minute of your fabulous trip. Here's hoping you have fabulous weather.

 

Say, if you do get pigmy goats, please post photos. I think they are adorable.

An excellent dinner in the MDR tonight!

 

I had the Prime Rib but Judith was not hungry and had only a salad.

We are at a large table in the MDR but only two other couples showed up for dinner. There were two couples missing.

Here's a web cam pic of the Vision docked at Northport this AM. All they will have to do is drop the gangway and step on the gas at sailing:). The blue square on the map below represents the Vision at the berth.

 

For a "small" ship, she looks pretty big to me! (and yes, I have been on Allure):)

After dinner we went up to the Pool Deck to hang out with the (Ugh, Pooh) Smokers.

 

The ship had still not sailed and nobody seemed to know why.

 

At about 7:45 pm the Captain blew the horn and everyone almost jumped out of their pants. Moments later we were moving.

 

We are at sea and headed south now...

 

 

 

 

Sooner or later I will find out why we were late leaving and let you all know.

It has been a long day but a great start for a long cruise.
