I am wondering if it is because some of the ships are coming in from Belize and there has been questionable/terrorist activity there. Are you going on the Dream next week? CourtneyLovesCruising Posted October 4, 2012 #9 Share Posted October 4, 2012 Interesting.. I am hoping to check in around 3 for a 4:30 sailing. I believe those emails and times are a standard form sent out, to help balance the load of passengers coming in as to not have most everyone arrive at once. Kenito Posted October 4, 2012 #10 Share Posted October 4, 2012 We all got some kind of "request" like this on our last cruise out of San Diego, and it appears many followed the suggestion... lines were virtually non-existent. Enjoy your cruise!
bjd2 Posted October 4, 2012 #11 Share Posted October 4, 2012 I've received that for every cruise. We are always there early and on shortly after boarding begins :D

ddgg Posted October 5, 2012 #13 Share Posted October 5, 2012 Yes many people have received this email. I am wondering if it is because some of the ships are coming in from Belize and there has been questionable/terrorist activity there. Huh? What does that have to do with what time you board on Day 1? Also, what "questionable/terrorist activity in Belize? I'll be there in about 40 days, and have heard nothing about problems in Belize.

He was running from prosecution, He just got a new identity in Belize. He was deported and the office that issued the passport has been closed until further notice. fridaythe13th Posted October 5, 2012 #16 Share Posted October 5, 2012 There are lots of people who don't know they can show up earlier so they wait until that time. There are always "newbies" who don't know about CC where we all get lots of information!! We usually show up about 10:30 and stand in line anticipating the start of boarding. :D
tkportersat Posted October 5, 2012 #17 Share Posted October 5, 2012 We always arrive around 11am.....like to get on board and have our first free meal and navigate the ship before everyone else arrives. Just an fyi, your room probably won't be ready until 1-1:30pm.
