My cruise songs have nothing to do with cruising! :eek: They are songs that I became familiar with on our cruise. (They were played before shows and in Flash Mob. I've Got a Feeling by Black Eyed Peas and That's What Makes You Beautiful by One Direction. :D I play them in the car with my kids and totally embarrass them but they both know WHY I like them! ;) Happily wishing 47 more days away!

Pandora intent radio has it own Royal Caribbean cruise channel.

Yeah, I can't believe all these American songs people are suggesting. I went on Pandora, typed in "feel good island music" and got some pretty good stuff. Some of it from Hawaiian artists, but still appropriate.

A testament to the efficacy of advertising, but Iggy Pop's "Lust for Life" is forever associated with Royal Caribbean for me. Another one on my playlist is Dido's "Sand in my Shoes" and I like the Buena Vista Social Club's whole album, preferably with rum and a cigar :cool:

I definitely agree with Bob Marley songs, the Kenny Chesney songs and Zac Brown Band songs mentioned. I love Kokomo, Beach Boys. We bought a CD one year from our RCI cruise, Rhythm Explosion is the name of the band, we love that CD.

 

Someone mentioned Pandora's RCI station. Last time I looked, I couldn't find it. What is the exact name? Help me find it! :)

It is not so much that it is a favorite, but it is a song that is often heard on a cruise Hot Hot Hot by Buster Poindexter.

 

 

They no longer use it in their advertising, but Royal previously used Lust for Life by Iggy Pop

I cannot get enough of these kinds of threads. I go through everyones posts, and listen to all songs on Youtube to see if I like it.

 

We live in Canada, and most times, we drive to our ports. This means 21-22 hours of driving over 2-3 days when we sail from Florida. This means a lot of listening time.

 

We love the drive - it's part of our vacation. Listening to "beach music" along the way just heightens the excitment - like I said, it's cruise foreplay :D
