I am going to "go snorkeling" instead of "go on a snorkeling trip". The difference is that I will actually use a mask and snorkel and put my face in the water instead of floating on a pool noodle among the snorkelers.

Darn, I've done everything listed here except the martini tasting. I guess I'll have to give that a try on my next cruise. I only did tea time on my last cruise. I don't know what I was waiting for. Enjoyed it immensely and will continue doing so. Oh, one disclaimer, never 'got it on with an employee'. That was on someones list.

I've done everything so far I wanted. Karaoke, photos, comedy club, tea, trivia, stuff a bear, room service for breakfast and dinner, virgin frozen drinks, DVD, etc.

 

There are things I want to do but my disability prevents me (photo scavenger hunt, behind the fun tour, martini tasting).

 

One thing I would love but can't afford is chefs table. Oh yeah and take more photos of the ship!

I say every cruise I am going to eat dinner on lido but never do. Maybe next cruise i will. I've walked through there before during dinner and the food looked really good. Also take more pictures. I never take any good pics. Hopefuly that wil change.

I would like to check out an art auction. Don't need to buy anything I just think it would be interesting.

 

I would also like to do more while in ports to learn about the place I am visiting...and not just the drinking habits! :D

This will be a different one, for us too. Lots of firsts coming up.

-first time out of a Florida port.

-first time with kids only.

-first time to Nassau (wife and kids)

-first time in a cove balcony

-first time we do not have something planned for a port (kids choice in Nassau)

And those are without even trying!!!

I'm going to parasail. I'm scared of heights but I try to push it every time in the hopes of eventually getting over it.

 

On my first cruise, I could barely walk next to a railing. Now, I can stay on my balcony for hours!

Things I want to do on my next cruise:

 

1. Get in a swimming pool!

2. Go upstairs and try the fish and chips!

3. Go down the water slide!

4. Use the whirlpool tubs more!

 

Number one and two I have never done before. I also need to put away my camcorder and camera more often and enjoy the amenities.

After 4 cruises, I still haven't gone down a water slide!

 

Stay on the ship on a port day, and enjoy choice seating while reading a book, and sipping my favourite cocktail.

This will be my 3rd cruise. I will be swimming with the dolphins which I have always wanted to do. (bucket list item). Order an extra lobster tail during dinner, swim in the pool on the ship and dance during the sail away party. :-) 16 more days... :D

I laughed so hard when I read this because years ago...many years ago...I did get it on with a crew member...well sort of. I was only 19 and sailed to Jamaica with my girlfriend. When I say "get it on" I mean "kissed"...come on, I way only 19! LOL!:D:D It was in the early 60s.

 

I've been cruising for a long time...been cruising with the DH since we began dating in 1971...been cruising with the DS since he was 5...and now cruise with the DH, DS, and DS's GF.

 

I guess I'm pretty "cruise jaded" because I can't really thing of anything I haven't done on a cruise. And the things that I haven't done are only things I'm not interested in. I guess I would say that the one thing we really haven't done that I would love to do is to cruise in a suite. I hope to do that one day.

Yessss...me too! I'm not in my 40's but still..this needs to get on my list. I can't believe I've never been on the water slides. It looks fun!

 

I'm 65 and I never miss the water slide. The Drain Pipe on the Dream was a real blast.

I hope that during my next cruise I am able to talk myself into actually getting into the ocean water................44 years old and have yet, after 4 cruises, to do any more than get my toes wet. Between shark week and my ridiculous imagination, I just haven't been able to do it.

 

So we've booked Stingray City during our next cruise. I hope I can get off the boat...............

Check in your fun times once you get on board. Usually on certain days and times, but can vary between ships. It is usually held at the Alchemy Bar on 2.0 ships, or at the bar near the coffee shop on conquest class ships
