Which beach on labadee is best??

My wife and I are sailing on the Allure of the seas next week, and have excursions booked for both Cozumel and Jamaica. We plan on making labadee a relaxing beach day. I know that there are a number of choices that you have in terms of beaches to go to. Which beach would you suggest and why?? Thanks! I have heard that some of the beaches and water are quite rocky, and would like to avoid that.

They are all good, however the ones on your right side as you walk down the path have the nice inlet. You will find one to your suiting, it is all in what you want a beach for.

We prefer Columbus Cove down past the Aquapark. Plenty of shaded spots with all of the trees, short walk to the bar and food, and calm water.

It's not a big place, take a walk and pick what you like:)

We like Nellie's Beach. We set up loungers in the shade, and are good for the entire time! (just remember to bring a few dollars to tip the guys who set up the chairs for you)

 

Actually, any beach on the side of the peninsula that faces the ship would be fine for swimming. The beaches on the side that faces the zipline are more rocky and have a rougher surf, and are not as "safe" for swimming.

Another vote for Nellie's Beach. Although any that will be to your right when you come onto the island should be fine as they have the calmer water and soft sand.

Nellies is a nice "busy" beach with the water structures for the kids, but, it is also enjoyable if you like to people watch.

Columbus cove is a little less hectic and nice waters.

Another vote for Columbus Cove. It's peaceful, soft sand, plenty of sun and shade. Barefoot Beach is the rocky one. You would be more comfy with water shoes on that beach.

Nellies is a nice "busy" beach with the water structures for the kids, but, it is also enjoyable if you like to people watch.

Columbus cove is a little less hectic and nice waters.

I don't believe there are any kiddie structures at Nellies beach. Just a calm cove with cabanas lining the outside shores.

Those are in Columbus Cove. There are no structures in Nellies.

Another vote for Nellie's Beach. The day we went, it was simply gorgeous! Soft sand, gradual slope entering the water and crystal clear water.

It's open to everyone.

Barefoot beach is the suite beach, with some cabanas.

If you have a cabana on Nellies, you get the buffet on Barefoot beach.

I like Nellie's Beach also. Get there early,hopefully before another ship arrives, grab a chair and relax. So peaceful. I'm going in November and luckily we are the only ship there. Can't wait.

It's open to everyone.

And the cabanas on Nellie's can be rented by anyone through excursions...but decide early and book online as these book up fast.
