There are cruises that depart Venice and sail to Civitavecchia, although the usually visit some Adriatic ports. Go to cruisetimetables.com and choose Italian ports from the top list. this will tell you who sails from there and their itinerary. EM

Is there a ship with an itinerary that just sails around Italy? Can't seem to find anything that doesn't involve Barcelona or UK departures.....

There are cruises that sail from Rome to Venice . Most of them will sail to Greece and Turkey with a stop in Naples and maybe Messina or Palermo.

If you want to sail to Livorno or Genoa , you won't be able to sail to Venice.

Welcome to Cruise Critic!

Try looking on the Canada port of call forum. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=39

You might also want to join the roll call for your ship. Find your ship from this list and then find the date of your sailing.

Have a great cruise!

I assume that you mean Quebec City. This is the closest you can come to being in Europe without flying over the Atlantic. It is a magnificent city with little alleyways, a beautiful waterfront and glamorous architecture. Take a horse-drawn carriage ride around the walled city. Sit and people watch from a deck at the Chateau overlooking the magnificent St Lawrence River. Sit at a charming outdoor café sipping on a café au lait. Shop at quaint little stores, eat a fantastic meal in nearly any restaurant you stumble upon. Whatever you do, you will leave completely charmed.

We're sailing on Celebrity Silhouette in November on an Italy & Adriatic cruise. Roundtrip from Civitavecchia (Rome). Ports include Livorno (Florence), Corfu Greece, Kotor Montenegro, Dubrovnik Croatia, Ravenna Italy, Venice (overnight), Catania Italy, and Naples. So a few non-Italy ports but plenty of Italy which you can enjoy
