Bigger tables in MDR?

Does anyone know how many the big round or rectangle tables fit? We are a group of 9...just wondering if we will all fit at one table. Thanks.

On the Glory, we had a 10 (or 12) top with 11 seated at it. Right in the middle of the dining room. I think there were 4 tables of this size there.

You will be fine just make sure you have your reservations all linked.

Have sat at a round table that had 9 squeezed in before. Also, have sat at a long table by the windows on the Liberty, Fantasy and Fascination that seated 14 people.

On the Sensation last year we sat at 10 top long table that was by the window.

On the Freedom we had 12 top round table and we had 12 people every night at dinner. That was too much we were usually always the last table to leave the dining room

We had a table for 10 on the Paradise in 2011. We were in forward dining room in the middle of the room (on the platform area).

If i remember correctly.... Depending on the ship... The largest round tables seat 10 or 12 on some ships. The rectangle tables seat 14.

I hope they can accommodate us, we are a group of 11 and we linked all our bookings together and all picked early seating with the hopes that we could all sit together.

We have been on Elation twice with a large group. The first cruise, there were 11 of us and they sat all of us at a large, round table. Was back on Elation last week with a group of 8. We figured it would be just the family at a table, but they squeezed another couple in with us. Thankfully, he was military and she was a prison nurse so they had plenty in common with our military and prison guard family. LOL You should be fine if all are linked together.

We had 9 at a round table earlier this year. I don't remember it feeling particularly crowded.

We have been seated at a round table of 10 several times.

They also can make long tables that will seat 10.

If i remember correctly.... Depending on the ship... The largest round tables seat 10 or 12 on some ships. The rectangle tables seat 14.

 

We've had a 13 sitting at a round table big enough for 14. It was way too big. Could only talk to those next to you, not across. Largest roundtop we will do is 10.

This was either the Inspiration or Paradise and was set up right behind the hostess stand.

Several times they have sat us with 9 people at an 8 person table. (Family of 3 with 2 other families of 3) Plenty of room.

On this past Liberty cruise we were seated at a round 12 top with 11 showing one night and then just 9 of us the other nights.

We cruised on the Destiny when they still put out all of the 2 knives, 3 forks, 3 spoons, water, wine and whatever glasses, coffee cups, etc. We had 9 at a table for 8 and you had a hard time telling what belonged to who. Now that they have eliminated putting all the extras out there, it should be a lot easier to sit 9 at a table for 8. The favorite saying was "Is that mine or yours?"

The larger, round tables seat 10, but we've had 11 seated there, comfortably.

We had 12 at a round top last one I took and we weren't sitting on top of each other. It was rather comfortable. Just go talk to the Matre D' and he should be able to help :). Enjoy your trip.

We had 14 on a Legend cruise and they connected a couple tables for us (reservations linked together). We just moved around each night so everyone had time to visit with each other as conversation is challenging at such a large table.

 

We had 10 on a Glory cruise this summer and they assigned us a large round table in the center of the dining room. It was awesome!
