Passport is your ID. :) Best that money can buy. You can forget or misplace your boarding pass and still get on the ship.

But you want your drivers license getting back on ships at ports. (Unless you want to take your passport)

You do not need your driver's license if you have a passport unless you have rented a car somewhere. You don't need it to get back on the ship!!

ID always good to have on u, my passport photo looks nothin like me so I always have a backup and I use my id in ports cuz if I loose that no big deal I keep my passport in my safe

We did not need to show our credit card last week in Miami.. All we needed was our passports and boarding pass. The person checking us in said we already have your credit card information and you are all set!

You don't need your DL to board. However, if you choose to keep your passport locked in your safe as most people do, take your drivers license with you and a photocopy of your passport. That way you can get back on the boat.
