Cruise no show.

We are booked and paid in full for a royal family suite on RCI for 6 people. Sail date is in 2 weeks. 2 people in the party are now unable to go. We know there will be no refund. Does anybody know if there will be an issue at the pier with 2 no shows? These rooms are supposed to accommodate 5 or more.

But, my sister's experience when her DH couldn't go, you have to call ahead. A true no show, without alerting RCI, does not get the taxes, etc. back. Just our experience.

If you can find other people to go in their place you may be able to do a name change for a small fee.

You're booked..and all set...they won't change your cabin at this point.

Thank you all for your helpful replies. I was most worried about our stateroom being changed. Glad to hear no problem AND that we may be able to offer 2 spots to somebody else. Cheers!

Question: Can the person "owning" the booking change the name if someone bails out, or does the person bailing out have to call?

The primary on the reservation can make the name changes.
