Make a list of one time consuming job you need to do every day. Clean you closet, rearrange your picture albums, go to the zoo, wash your Windows. Just think of all I could get done with almost 500 days to go.

We watch cruise videos on the web. Usually the port of calls we are going to visit so we get some idea of what to expect with the excursions we are doing. Also, go through our lists of things to pack. You know you'll forget something.

 

When you finally get on board, relax and tell the crew to, "Drop the lines and set sail for open waters.

I like to scrub the house the week before I leave so when I get back, I can just relax in a squeaky clean house and reminisce.
