I used the NCL coupons several times and never received cash. They always added the amount to my players card.

 

Same with us - always added the amount to our cards along with the NCL slot play that was purchased. I just don't want to purchase the other website's play unless the Breakaway will accept it now that they eliminated their own play promotions.

I was talking about the NCL coupons in increments ($50.00, $100.00 etc), that is given in cash by the cashier desk. The 20 for 10 slot play was added to the players card.

Those two have nothing in common. All NCL ships still accept slotplaycoupons.

Sorry if this is a silly or repeat question (although I don't remember seeing it) but I have a casino card as well as a free drink card that I 'earned' on the Breakaway last July. I believe the drink card was only good for the duration of the cruise, but is my casino card still good or do I have to get a new one in order to use the slot play coupon which I purchased some time ago for my July Gem cruise?

All ships have separate cards so yes, you will need get a new one when cruising on a different ship.

Yes, NCL discontinued them. The third-party service we are talking about here is only thing that is left but it was better deal anyway. :)

Bring your casino card. We brought ours from 2013 and they loaded the slot play money on them. We also still had points from last year that you can redeem for slot money the last day of the cruise.
