On ship right now, need some advice about room steward.

Glad it all worked out for you and your steward and that you had great weather to enjoy your balcony. :D
Heck, I got an Alaskan suntan on my balcony last year! :p
Sorry it's almost over....they do end too soon. :(

Actually, it is a problem. They have to service all of their cabins twice a day.

Once, on turn around day on a back to back, I told my steward not to bother with my cabin until the evening because I know how busy he is on turn around day. He thanked me for being so considerate but said he has to clean the cabin every day.

I've seen other threads on this topic and I'm pretty sure the answer was pretty much, it's a problem.
