I'm really impressed with CAS lately. I just booked an aft facing penthouse suite with balcony for an amazing price through CAS. It was over $1,000 less than if I booked through ncl direct, and not through CAS.

I know CAS is really outstanding. I'm on the breakaway November 30 comp balcony for $639 for the 2 of us plus $150 free play plus our drink cards. How does it get better than that? They really treat their casino players well. 111 days to go and I'm very excited. Leaving for Las Vegas this Thursday for 9 days hoping I can win another JP to save for my cruise. Was in Atlantic city last week and hit a $2,500 JP that I saved for my Vegas trip.

You know, you don't have to wait for an offer from CAS. If you're in their system, you can call them anytime and ask what they'll do for you on any given cruise.

 

Believe me, they're more than happy to have you on board, gambling in their casinos!

Many of these are invitation, but are mass invites. Anyone with some play might be able to call in and get the same thing. Maybe. Maybe not.

 

So, other than ultra secret handshake deals, it is sometimes good to see them posted. Maybe some folks that are just short of getting the invite MIGHT be able to call in.

 

(personally, I am not a big fan of the group invites - there will be way more degenerates like me on that cruise than normal and I may not get the same attention as normal - maybe I am all wrong too)

I was in a bit of a mood (friend in hospital with a stroke), but it seemed to me that I'd seen 2 or 3 of these CAS offer threads recently, and the problem with them is that they don't apply to everybody - but it felt like the thread was suggesting anybody could take advantage of them.

As for Little Jackie B., for somebody to have 60+ posts on how awful the EPIC bathrooms were, without having ever set foot on the ship - you're certainly one to call others know-it-alls.

We haven't been on NCL since 2012 now and we are still getting the invites as well as calls from a CAS rep, who is very nice. I was surprised to get the Bermuda golf tourney invite this year, too bad I don't golf, it looked like a sweet comp.

I know what you mean. It is amazing that people still "claim" to have issues with the Epic's bathrooms...yet these same people say absolutely NOTHING about the bathrooms in many of the suites on the Jewel class ships which have nearly identical configurations and features as Epic's bathrooms. :eek:

Not sure if this is on topic.. was wondering if anyone has experience with a partner that plays about the same as themselves and have been able to get two rooms, one under each player. We are hoping to bring our neices on our next trip and would like them in their own room. TIA

VideoTech mentioned something in another post about not needing to wait for specific offers (ships/sailings) from CAS I very recently (last couple of weeks) found that to be very true. I received a number of offers via postcard from CAS on different ships and sailings. None of those were anything I could take advantage of. I did call them however and they told me what I could get as far as offers on different sailings that were not ones being advertised. I don't know for sure if it is for any ship or date but my guess is that they will offer you at least something very close to anything you have been sent.

They are usually in your cabin when you arrive. If not, check at the casino with anyone at the desk, and they will give it to you. Good luck at the casino!

Hello FootballParent… Its antsnanny… I just got an offer today also.. Have you ever taken advantage of them? We were told to pick up our voucher on 8-13 so I only know there giving us a cruise.. I assume an inside cabin?

Call CAS, it will depend on your partners play. If they have good play, I don't see why not.

i've been on over 20 NCL cruises, and play in the casino a little each time. Is there a threshold of casino spending one needs to go over before the offers kick in? I'm a very modest gambler, like probably only $100 per cruise, but do you think it could trigger an offer?

I doubt it highly, The points are as follows

1 point on slot machine = $5.00

1 point on Video Poker machine = $10.00

Tables are based on average bet & time spent playing at tables

 

Here is the link to the tier levels, you can expect freebies at Borderline "Hot" level, which is 5001 points though my moms friend got comped after earning 1566 points on a 1 night cruise (The expectation is that she will do those points every day which would up her tier level on 1 cruise).

As with everything in CAS YMMV (your mileage may vary)
