Just downloaded the brochure. Arcadia and Aurora, am i missing something, no Adonia?

Might give a fly cruise a try, possibly on Arcadia

Dave

Is Adonia not doing the Caribbean and the Amazon.

Also the port details for Sydney in 2017 show Azura has been booked in as well as Aurora and Arcadia.

All of which is of little interest to us unless we do the full world cruise.

It's the 2016 schedule that's been issued, a tad early for 2017 ;)

Some nice itineraries. Just had an email from P&O, Caribbean tiers and above can book on 9th September.

Surely you are not thinking of booking a cruise with P&O after what you have said about them recently on here about P&O being an "inferior brand" i.e. I quote "What I do object to is people coming onto princess ships and using their loyalty points that were built up with inferior brands and clogging up the free laundry system"

Perhaps there is nothing in the World Cruise brochure for 2016 for Adonia because perhaps P&O are getting rid of her ;)

I think you should put your wooden spoon away.

Just because she has no casino no need to pick on her.

Yep, just booked a cheapo with P&O at less than £50 pppn to top up my Baltic status. 👍😀

no Oriana in the email brochure i received apart from mentioning Oriana is in a seperate brochure

not really a problem anyway as Arcadia is the only ship I would consider out of that bunch and anyway it is very expensive for a solo cruiser.

edit - Oriana is not available on the P&O site so perhaps it is sold out?

You must have a different brochure to me.

Mine is called World Journeys 2016

P24-25 is about Aurora.

Back page just lists Arcadia and Aurora.

Looks like P&O have issued two different versions of the brochure.

Mine has 106 pages

We also noted that Azura is presumably doing worldies from 2017, which probably means that Ventura will be doing fly cruises in the Caribbean rather than a couple of round trip Caribbeans as in 2015/16. Bit disappointing for us as we don't fancy either Oriana or Oceana.

Hi Brian

My brochure only has 36 pages including back page.

You must be right looks as though P&O have sent out two different 2016 World Journeys 2016. Wonder if the prices are the same?

I have just realised there was another thin (16pages) brochure in the packaging covering Orianas Caribbean and American adventure 50 nights. Not really a world cruise but long enough for many.

If I decide to go, there is nothing to keep me in the UK anymore, I would be doing a segement rather than the whole thing.

Question - Arcadia and Aurora both have cruises starting at Sydney and ending at Hong Kong. The way I read the brochure you fly out from the UK and join the ship in Sydney. You then sail the next day so you have a full day in port (jet lag excepted)

It appears to be straight to the airport at Hong Kong and I might consider the 4 night extension as it is a pity to miss out on such an iconic place. This will add at least £1200 to the cost of the cruise as I expect the single supplement will be 100%:(

there is no pricing on the P&O site yet either.

Then which is the best cruise, the Arcadia one or the longer aurora one for £1000 more?

Seriously pondering on another full worldie in 2017, depends on the itinerary of course and I still have next years grand voyage first. Might change my mind after that!
