Retailers selling Carnival gift cards?

...For those in the Palm Beach County area, just picked up a gift card today from Lowes located in Boynton Beach (I-95 and Woolbright). Found it on the endcap display near the front entrance.

FYI, They are supposed to be coming to Publix early 2015!. I am intrigued by this idea of stock piling cards, a little at a time until I have enough for a cruise. Woot Woot

They have been in our grocery store for weeks. And you can get bonus fuel perks by buying them.

Yes and used the same way. You just get them quicker

I found gift cards on Broad st. in Blacklick, OH at both the Giant Eagle and Krogers.

A friend of ours gave each of us a Carnival gift card for Christmas. I think she got them at Kroger here in southwest Ohio.

 

I see that my Credit Card company offers Carnival Gift Cards also. Do you know if they can be used to buy cruise cash, towards Sail and Sign, etc. or is it only for payment of the cruise? I have already paid for the cruise and would love to be able to get them for cruise cash. Thanks for your help and happy cruising. Bonnie

I don't know if the part in ALL CAPS means that I can't use them toward final payment through my TA?

 

I checked with my TA as to what I can use the gift cards for, and she said pretty much everything except the initial deposit. Don't know why that is.

It may just be how their system works. I know if I purchase a cruise online through an online TA, there is only a credit card payment option to make the deposit.

Just bought my first one of many at Ralphs/Kroger. I turned in a batch of coins from my coin jar (at their Coin Star) and bought a $50 one. If I keep doing this, the coins won't get spent on something else. :D

Has anyone in San Antonio, Texas found the cards? We do not have a Krogers in the area. The closest one is in Houston. I called one Lowe's location and they denied having them. I have yet to get out drive around to see for myself. I may do that tomorrow. I was hoping that others may have found them in this area.

I had absolutely NO idea that I could buy these! Just like our Disney gift cards, I will buy one here and there and use them on vacation when we get on board the ship. How fun!

Has anybody had any luck in NJ? We do have Lowe's Home Improvement but I need them today and I was hoping for plastic cards instead of the ecard as its for a holiday tomorrow for kids.

If you booked it yourself online at carnival.com, then you can. For other combinations, you'll have to wait for the appropriate answers.

Most Travel Agents also will accept the gift cards. I know mine does.
