My first sailaway in a while. I saw/heard 2 dam ships in Ft. Lauderdale and saw 1 dam ship in Tampa. What a great afternoon!

I had to refresh my sound but heard one L-O-N-G toot and one regular toot from Freedom. Was there more.

 

Scrapnana, I had originally planned to drive to Florida for Christmas with my family and take the auto train back but things changed. Now I fly down Christmas day, spend some time with family after the cruise, and fly home.

 

I am taking a combination of train and Crystal Serenity to Europe for my Prinsendam cruise.

It's hard to imagine backing the Allure but I guess I'll see for myself in October. By the way on that TA it's Amtrak and QM2 to Europe and Amtrak back from FTL.
