I'll chime in here. The National Museum is an easy walk from the tender dock. Maybe 3 blocks. Exit the tender pier area and turn right. It's a small museum, but well done in that it gives one a good perspective of Cayman history. We were there in December and enjoyed our visit.

[SIZE="4"]We decided to go up to the Diamond Lounge to enjoy a couple snacks and a beverage while "whiling away" our time before our dinner reservation at Giovanni's.

It was an exquisitely relaxing end of the daylight hours and the approach into the darkness of evening. We were in for another treat with a unique sunset onto the day and the promise of dreams to come later in the night.[/SIZE]

[SIZE="4"]I put my camera back into the cabin as I was not expecting much else with the sun down and dinner a few moments away as I did not wish to carry the camera to dinner. YES, I should have known better!

While enjoying some sea air on deck 5, we were treated to the rise of the full moon. I certainly did not anticipate such a sight with the clouds and haze, but it was beautiful to behold! So it lives in the picture memory of my mind

It is about 30 minutes from sunrise and I am finishing my second double espresso and my lovely wife has just arrived so we can enjoy the espresso and the sunrise together![/SIZE] Edited February 5, 2015 by Havana Daydreamin

[SIZE="4"]We are waiting for the rush to get outside is over. We are docked beside the Oasis and combined with our passengers, you can maybe get a sense of the backlog. In the middle of the picture, there is a line of people...I expect that is to leave the pier area. (Photo ID and seapass are required today)

Beyond that you can see another line, most likely to the transportation.

Apologies for the haziness....it is very humid with 80% chance of rain today and my camera lens fogged a bit. And I got lazy and did not wait.:o[/SIZE]

That could be why though we were informed earlier to change our clocks back one hour last evening in the compass, that we received a special note indicating NOT to change the clocks back one hour.

I will look when I am outside today.

You mentioned you went to Giovanni's. How was it? We went to Giovanni's last year on Navigator & my group absolutely loved it. Our group is booked for Giovanni's on Serenade in just a few weeks. We are certainly hoping for the same experience!

Yes, you may ask how long we have been married. We have been married 36 1/2 years as of this cruise. Like all couples, there are some of those not so smooth places. However, with the grace of God covering us both always, it is very easy to do what we promised to love and to cherish. Thank you and others for noting this.

As for a picture of us, I usually have one for pre-cruise, but did not do that at the time. Here is a photo a fellow passenger took of us on the first formal night this week. We were on the way to Chef's Table and so were they. We exchanged the favors of taking pictures.

We would concur that it is fantastic! One needs to pace oneself because you barely can have room for dessert otherwise!

We have dined there for lunch one day last week....it was a very leisurely lunch that was about 2 hours long. We did not mind as it was quiet and we had a window table.

I could have sung the entire Jimmy Buffet tune with the refrain "I wish lunch would last forever!"

We had two different servers and they were both fabulous!

[SIZE="4"]We are currently on deck 5 starboard, enjoying the view of Cozumel. It is shady and there is a nice breeze. It is MARVELOUS!!!

Our day did take us very briefly into Cozumel. I am not a huge beach person and as you all know by now, I simply had to go to Margaritaville.

We had not planned to go off the ship at Cozumel, but decided we might always regret not having done every Margaritaville on the cruise itineraries of the two weeks.[/SIZE]

[SIZE="4"]The view from the patio deck in town was nice. I was able to note another ship in port along with what I previously mentioned. I don't know if I missed it or it was not on the calendar. It is the MSC Divina docked downtown with Disney Magic.[/SIZE]

[SIZE="4"]Barbara enjoyed two Pacifico's and I had a Victoria and then a Montenejo. Both were enjoyable for me as we snacked on a shrimp ceviche salad. We noted the volcano nachos but they did not look nearly as wonderful as they did in Falmouth.[/SIZE]

The line leaving the pier was in part to having a dog sniff you carry off bag. He did not indicate on mine as he did with an innocent looking party in front of us. Their bag had to get searched.

The other line was for the excursion departure area, it seems. Apparently, many of the excursions had departed by the time we went. Though there was a huge contingent of people coming off of Oasis when we returned to the ship.

Security to get back to the ship was conducted on shore by local authorities.

No one asked for picture ID even though the Compass indicated it was required. Better to have and not use than to need and not have.:D

Joining the Royal Caribbean ships and Holland America at the International Pier is also the Carnival Paradise.

The music form 1/2 Señor Frogs is getting louder as we get deeper into the day. I imagine that will continue as that has always been my observations of the past.

We are certainly enjoying our time on deck. I am enjoying a Carrillo once again. My very last one. Probably will follow with something else later.

A question about the Margaritaville in Cozumel - which pier is it close to? I know Royal Caribbean usually docks at the International pier and was wondering if it was close to that, or father north in San Miguel?
