bjtomko Posted February 2, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2015 http://cruisedestination.net/2014/10/27/top-10-most-dangerous-cruise-destinations-in-the-world/ For better or worse, this does not stop me. Keep my wits about me, stay where I should be and don't venture where I shouldn't and I think I will be fine. I live in the most dangerous city in the US, so what do I know. Rare ghstudio Posted February 2, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 2, 2015 Wow....certainly a very narrow view of the world....like the caribbean basin (loosely speaking...I knowarea is the most dangerous place on earth....not. There are several ports around the world that are far more dangerous....and I don't think this list is even accurate for the caribbean because Panama isn't on it. Based on this article, it's almost a shock that anyone arrives back home after taking a caribbean cruise :)
Rare ORV Posted February 2, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 2, 2015 Man, I didn't realize how lucky I am to be alive, having been in 7 out of 10 of those locations.
neverbeenhere Posted February 2, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 2, 2015 Been to all the locations, only had to shoot my way out of two of them. Stuff happens, Cruise on. (I might suggest don't go to :D:D:D)

Rare Essiesmom Posted February 2, 2015 #7 Share Posted February 2, 2015 Interesting that the picture they have of Antigua is of Antigua, Guatemala, not accessed from the Caribbean but the Pacific, rather than the island/nation of Antigua. EM I have been to Antigua, Guatemala and thought that picture looked familiar with Volcano de Agua in the background.
happyscmom Posted February 3, 2015 #9 Share Posted February 3, 2015 Seems very biased! About 20 years ago I did a Mediterranean cruise that went to Tunis. It was very interesting, but it was certainly more dangerous than any of these locations! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
OCruisers Posted February 3, 2015 #10 Share Posted February 3, 2015 Seems all listed are Caribbean ports of call not in the WORLD. LuLu
Nebr.cruiser Posted February 3, 2015 #11 Share Posted February 3, 2015 We've been to all those islands/places except El Salvador. Have never felt unsafe or afraid. We do use common sense as to safety, of course, as anywhere. Somehow I think there might be more unsafe cruise ports in the world.
