There are so many restaurants in Old San Juan that it's hard to name just one. Jibarito is very popular.http://www.travelandleisure.com/travel-guide/old-san-juan/restaurants

Punta de Vista, too. I think they moved to a rooftop location.

We love to eat where the locals do. So where do the locals go in Old San Juan for a lovely dinner? Not mega expensive. Just nice, fun, delicious.

Ambiance, local color and perhaps a great view would be a plus.

Thank you!

Dine at Marmalade and take the wine pairing menu. Enjoy;)

Not sure if you realize that you don't need to 'type' or reply in order to subscribe to a thread? Just look at top left line (on top of thread) look for 'thread tools' - pull down menu - hit subscribe - choose option and you are subscribed!

Thanks for the advice, everyone. We decided to go to Barrachina for paella, an original Pina colada and their flamenco dancing show. We wanted something less formal than Marmalade.

Did you enjoy Barrachina? We have debated between that and Marmalade.

Does anyone know what a nice dinner for two with drinks or wine would be at marmalade?

What is the flamenco show schedule? I looked on their website, but only saw photos of the show, no time schedule.

Thanks!

The only place I let myself enjoy mojitos. They are so delicious at Barrachina. :) We've gone there for years.

I'm thinking my husband and I will try Punto de Vista. I like a meal with a view. Do you think I should make reservations? I'm kind of up in the air about the time but would nail it down if I felt I needed to.
