I am soooo enjoying your live review and with such fantastic photos too! We've been on the Gem three times, with a fourth cruise coming up in the Fall. I saw our favorite bartender (Jay) in one of your photos....can't wait to be enjoying beverages on board again:)

Thank you for doing it. I love those kind of live trip reports and with the new internet package hopefully many of them are coming.

 

 

Thanks Chris and micm! I do hope ncl follows royal and upgrades their internet service as it does help with social postings which helps get their brand out there I feel.

Awesome....Strongbow...I like a cider at times!

 

Love the pics...the sunrise is something I like to catch most mornings while I'm on board as well! Usually not many around to see it!

 

 

Yeah it was good, first time trying it. Absolutely agree on the sunrise as well as sunsets, no place better than on the sea!

Dan Dan was CD on our 2014 Breakaway sailing, he was okay.

 

Are the dining rooms well staffed as someone just back on the Getawy notice very slow service in the MDR. It was slow for us on the Breakaway, namely at OSheehans & not much faster at LeBistro on 2 nights, wait team was friendly & said it was backed up in their gallery.

 

Curious about menu items changed at OSheehans. Keep those pictures coming.

So far we have only been at cagneys and service was good. Tonight were at la cucina so i will see.

Thanks again.....:D. Sometimes a butler can make the cruise! We had a not so good one our first time :mad:...then 2 great ones :D

Onboard wifi prices:

 

Comparing this to Quantum they had unlimited for $10 per day per device, so it was $160 for 8 night only on two devices. This I assume is for any number of devices. I will let you know if I can be simultaneously on my ipad and iphone.

Am I mistaken or has the price of internet gone up? I seem to recall paying less than $60 for 100 minutes.
