Karencruiser43 Posted August 30, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 30, 2015 Is there a cover charge for the serenity adult area on Carnival Breeze? Thank you!
bury me at sea Posted August 30, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 30, 2015 No. If you are at least 21 just wander on up there.
ready2cruzagain Posted August 30, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 30, 2015 No there is no charge for anyone 21 or over. There is one hot tub and several loungers, some clam shell chairs and a few hammocks. If you want a place, you have to get there early. We were on the Breeze for 14 days and it was always packed. One on the Port side and one on the Starboard side. If memory serves me correctly it seems as though there was not as much seating on the Port side. The bar is on the Starboard side. dorinel Posted August 31, 2015 #10 Share Posted August 31, 2015 on the whole ship!! You will love it. Looking forward to the same section of the ship in less than 2 weeks on the Dream. I hope it is just as nice as the Breeze, my favorite Carnival ship so far! :D
wytyger1 Posted September 4, 2015 #11 Share Posted September 4, 2015 So, there is a Serenity Deck, but, you may want to check out the Tides Pool on the back of the ship if that deck is too crowded. We never had an issue getting a lounger chair and it's a great place to be to take photos when you're leaving a port because everything is directly behind you. There were a few children at the Tides Pool but it's a large deck and getting splashed while tanning was never an issue for me because there are lots of seat that are not in close proximity to the pool. There are also 2 hot tubs, a drink station, and a bar at the Tides Pool
Gallivanting Souls Posted September 5, 2015 #12 Share Posted September 5, 2015 Do you get carded to get into this Serenity area? I am just wondering how they know who is over 21?
stargate fan Posted September 5, 2015 #13 Share Posted September 5, 2015 Do you get carded to get into this Serenity area? I am just wondering how they know who is over 21? On our last cruise security personnel walked around Serenity and asked those who "looked" under 21 for their S&S cards. Those that were indeed under 21 were escorted out. Finally! Carnival ensured that rules were followed.

Gallivanting Souls Posted September 6, 2015 #15 Share Posted September 6, 2015 Thanks. I wouldn't want to be bothered by some under aged kids who knew how to behave, just because they didn't look old. It's too bad that some have to ruined it for a few. I really don't see what the big deal is if you are 18 or +. Unless you are handing out free drinks? If you are an adult and can behave like an adult, that should be enough said. If you are 18, you can't go in the kids areas, so you are even more limited, JMHO. <--- start the fiery arrows. I'm ready

bobsfamily Posted September 6, 2015 #17 Share Posted September 6, 2015 (edited) I really don't see what the big deal is if you are 18 or +. There have been many threads about this... please don't start it again. 21 means 21, not 20 or 19 or 18... Thanks and have a wonderful cruise! OP, no charge and please don't give them any ideas! surfjock27 Posted September 6, 2015 #18 Share Posted September 6, 2015 As others have said, two hot tubs (one one the port side and one on the starboard side) with clam shells, hammocks, etc. The bar and main seating area are on the Starboard side. We found the hot tub on the port side to much quieter. We did however, several times, run into 12-14 year olds (no parents) in the hot tubs later at night. Never once did we encounter security walking around.
Sweet Dutch Girl Posted September 6, 2015 #19 Share Posted September 6, 2015 (edited) If you have a port you are not interested in visiting camp out on the serenity deck in one of the nice clams (or a hammock if you are more coordinated than me). Otherwise I try to avoid it because it isn't always serene (and just because someone is over 21 they don't always understand the idea of quiet and relaxing).
