HokiePoq Posted September 11, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 11, 2015 (edited) Just tried to book a shore excursion on our January cruise and got the message that our reservation was being modified. I can't imagine how that could be as it's been made for some time and nothing has changed. Does anyone know if something is actually being modified when one gets this message or if it just means the website is out of whack? KY Deb Posted September 11, 2015 #4 Share Posted September 11, 2015 I've had this issue for days. Trying to add a new reservation made through our TA to our account. Celebrity has sent us an email with our reservation No. Etc., but I get that same message when I go to add the reservation to our account.
bluewhite Posted September 11, 2015 #5 Share Posted September 11, 2015 I am having problems with online check in. Getting really fed up with the modifications:mad:
CYNSport Posted September 12, 2015 #6 Share Posted September 12, 2015 Also, if you access your account and quit the page without logging out, this message will occur for about 20 minutes or so.
floralscent Posted September 12, 2015 #7 Share Posted September 12, 2015 Also, if you access your account and quit the page without logging out, this message will occur for about 20 minutes or so. The above quote is very true and it also happens randomly when logging in for the first time in a day. Your reservation is fine so you shouldn't worry. I do know how you feel though as I panicked the first time this happened to me.
mafig Posted September 12, 2015 #8 Share Posted September 12, 2015 I panicked the first time this happened to me. Not me. I'm an optimist. Every time I see it I think that Celebrity is giving me a big upgrade. So I check back in 20 minutes ... and .....:(
rnrcruzin Posted September 12, 2015 #9 Share Posted September 12, 2015 Try switching your internet browser. I've had issues with Internet Explorer and switched to Chrome and the problem go's away.
CathyCruises Posted September 12, 2015 #10 Share Posted September 12, 2015 Tried the new Windows 10 Edge browser yesterday. Every time I clicked on a cabin, it took me to the 'do you need a travel agent' page. . .no, I need a website that FUNCTIONS!!!
RocketMan275 Posted September 12, 2015 #11 Share Posted September 12, 2015 Also, if you access your account and quit the page without logging out, this message will occur for about 20 minutes or so. That probably explains it. I've not had this issue on X web page but have on Royal site.
dkjretired Posted September 12, 2015 #12 Share Posted September 12, 2015 Also, if you access your account and quit the page without logging out, this message will occur for about 20 minutes or so. Correct, I've had this happen many times in the past, just log out from your My Celebrity and then sign back in. Apparently Celebrity's website can't handle you signing in when you are already signed in from a previous session.
HokiePoq Posted September 13, 2015 Author #13 Share Posted September 13, 2015 Thanks, everyone. I don't think it was a log in/out issue, but it could have been the IE one. I'll try Chrome next time. Seems that they are losing $$$$ every time someone tries to make a purchase and encounters issues.
KY Deb Posted September 13, 2015 #14 Share Posted September 13, 2015 I get that message with Chrome, too. It's a website malfunction.
