double latitudes points?

I was just reading another thread and they said something about getting double latitudes points if you book at least 9 months out.

 

Is this for all cruises and all categories booked?

 

We booked a year out for our cruise in February and didn't know about the double points until now. Just wonder if applies to us or just suites.

As long as you don't make any changes to your reservation when you are closer than 9 months out. If you make a reservation change when you are, say, 8 months out, then you will no longer get the double points.

I would ask for a price drop because I don't believe in buying points, they're not that valuable.

Even if the reservation number stays the same, to my understanding the reservation date can change depending on how the change is made - some CSRs do it "right", some do not.
