New Carnival Website Layout

I disliked it so much I used "contact us" to complain:(

I miss the old excursion videos. The pictures are nice but the videos were better. I also like looking at the entire floor when searching for a cabin, not front-middle-back.

I don't like it either! One thing I can't find is my Saved Cruises area. I also can't find a way to save a cruise. Do I have to go through Search every time I want to check out a cruise??

 

For some of us who are "of a certain age" it's very hard to see the info on the photos. I liked the list much better. As someone else said "KISS"!

Carnival changed their website layout today from the easy to use calendar/list layout to a picture/blocks layout with limited filters on the top. I can't seem to find anything and had to call my PVP just to look for a simple date/month combination.

 

Is it just me or is anyone else not able to search with accuracy? This is a very frustrating experience.

 

the previous way had it's glitches....but the newer set up takes longer to get used to and avigate.....time will tell if i'll get used to it

I wish they'd include a search option for specific ports.

I use vacations to go dot com for that. Very useful site for searching cruises.

I hate the new layout so much I booked a RCCL cruise instead. I told Carnival the new search is awful and I went to a competitor instead.

I had to get google chrome to access the website. while I'm not the most technologically astute individual around, I'm finding this a bit easier to find information.

Yeah, same here. Then I tried Internet Explorer, and I do see the new search function. However, you can still get to the old one by selecting "Plan" then

"Find A Cruise" from the menu at the top of the page.

Ah, that explains it. I always use the "Plan" and "Find A Cruise" function at the top of the page. But - when I use the "Find A Cruise" buttons farther down, the results look the same. Oh well, doesn't matter, the Carnival site is STILL much better than the RCI site....

It's really terrible. Takes me forever to navigate and then dates show up different ways. Will start looking at another travel site instead.

It's strange how some get the new layout while others(myself included) still have the old layout.

 

You'd think the site would be the same regardless of the web browser or any other variables.
