irishgal432 Posted December 31, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 31, 2015 I am looking for a Suite type or 2 bedroom suite for 4 adults going to FLL. I want to compare the cost of that versus booking 2 seperate rooms. We will be flying and would prefer a free shuttle or in an area where we could walk around and shop since we will be getting in early afternoon. cruiseapril Posted December 31, 2015 #2 Share Posted December 31, 2015 Embassy Suites has 2 room suites with a queen size sofa bed in the living room. They are located in an area for walking to shops and restaurants. Breakfast is included.
capriccio Posted December 31, 2015 #3 Share Posted December 31, 2015 Also check out Gallery One (a Doubletree) and the Residence Inn Intracoastal - they are both suite hotels.
goneclear Posted December 31, 2015 #4 Share Posted December 31, 2015 GalleryOne By Hilton has two bed room suites. Nice area for walking. Next door to the Galleria Mall and several restaurants. The Galleryone also has a Water Taxi stop at the hotel so you can take an evening cruise of the area.
royalcruz Posted December 31, 2015 #5 Share Posted December 31, 2015 There is a Homewood near the airport; nothing much around though.

Keep in mind if you are cruising between now and the end of April, a two bedroom suite will be far more expensive than two regular rooms.
irishgal432 Posted December 31, 2015 Author #7 Share Posted December 31, 2015 (edited) We are leaving May 6th and Embassy and Gallery one are sold our already. The other option for 2 rooms is the Holiday Inn Express for 99.00 a night at 205 North Federal Highway Dania Fort Lauderdale FL 33004 Are there any restaurants or sun trolley stops around there? irishgal432 Posted December 31, 2015 Author #8 Share Posted December 31, 2015 Gallery One opened up and I was able to get it for 127 /141 w taxes/ through the Hilton MVP program. It is a 2 queen/living room. I am hoping the couch will open up into a bed. Is the water taxi the one that takes you all around the yachts and mansions? Make sure whomever is going on the sofa bed can handle it. That's actually a good price.

Lcar66 Posted December 31, 2015 #12 Share Posted December 31, 2015 Check out one of these sites and see if there are any rooms for rent - I think the W has a two room suite.

We were at the Gallery One last year, very nice hotel. My son slept on the sofa bed and had no issues, not bad at all. Enjoy.
