We never fly home on the same day that the ship gets back in -- mainly because our first flight is usually around 6 AM.

I am watching since we get on the Oosterdam next month on the 19th and have some one boarding today that will be at our Meet & Greet next month. They are on for nearly 42 days...nice.

I can remember when we were on the Westerdam in 2013 for a repositioning cruise and we didn't leave until 7 PM.

Depends on the insurance company.

Some will cover it -- others won't.

People may have been on their own phones and ship phones early this morning when they knew about the situation and then trying to explain both to the airline and their insurance what happened to cause them to miss their flights.

I haven't been paying attention. Between bad health and now supper cold weather, I have spent a lot of time in my lounger trying to escape to another world.

Plus I spent a good deal of time yesterday and today updating my one computer from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. Hopefully I got it all straightened out to my likes.

We are usually up between 4:30 and 5 AM.

 

But I never think about watching the ships coming into Ft Lauderdale.

Became one the last 3 - 4 years.

Wasn't hard to convince me to think of other things -- like seeing and watching all the wonderful places people are going to.

Sure glad we saw a great deal of the world before the world turned upside down for us.

I have been avoiding upgrading to 10, but will probably have to do it soon. :(

I kept avoiding it. But soon the free upgrade will be ending. That is why I decided to upgrade the newer computer.

The laptop I am presently working is Windows 7 and is about 4 years old. I will probably have to buy a new one sooner than I expect.

Hope you have someone to help you -- I had no one and just kept working on settings, etc.

Yes, we will have to harass him when we get onboard on the 19th next month. :p They are finishing their cruise with just the 10 day segment of our cruise.

Freezing here 20 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.

Over night low is to be 4 with wind chills in the -teens.

I have Windows 8.1 and have been told by three different experts in the field not to bother upgrading to 10. Just sayin'.

I did it a while ago and it has been OK.

 

Does 10 work with Office 7 and Adobe CCS 5? I really do not want to have to upgrade those
