Internal Temperature

We are taking our first cruise onboard the Princess Ruby. I recently heard that they keep the internal temp of the ship on the cooler side. Am trying to figure out how to dress. Any suggestions would be helpful.

If arriving early to the showroom it can be cold. Once 700+ of your new friends arrive, it'll warm right up.

Just got off the Ruby on Saturday. The Princess Theater got pretty warm during the shows - lots of people in there - and the casino was on the warm side when full. Other than those rooms the rest of the ship was fairly cool. A light sweater should fit the bill.

It's not an ice box like some Carnival ships. Take a sweater. If you don't need it, all the better.

I find the temps to be just fine with what I'm wearing but I have traveled with a few that take a sweater to be on the safe side. I like to be a little on the cool side. We are all different in what is cool or warm to us so I say, layers are always good.:):):)

Impossible to answer this question. One person's hot is another person's cold.

I agree whole heartily Sascol, because my wife will ask how it feel outside I will say its not that warm. We will then go out and she will be upset with me because she is roasting ("I knew I should put shorts on and not listen to you"). Now I tell her to go out see for herself, I think its cool!!!

It's not always the cooler side for us. We almost always adjust it to be colder.

Mrs Gut takes a light wrap or cardigan with her.

Just off the Ruby this last Saturday. I found the ship to be warm in many areas compared to the other ships I've been on. The AC in the stateroom barely worked and when I put my hand to the vent, hardly any air was moving ... I'm not sure if that's a pattern on this ship, or just my experience! Who knows ;)

The same situation has happened to us & it really makes for an unpleasant trip when you cabin is constantly warm.
