Princess Australia- Sea Princess World Cruise 2016

Recommended Posts

Bon Voyage. Where are you joining the ship?

In the meantime, enjoy Bonnie Scotland.

Thanks for that...and I might add it is drizzling and much cooler than Perth here in Edinburgh. We joing the SP 9 July in Dover through to Freo...yesterday it took us about 10.5 hours to fly from Perth to Abu Dhabi and just recently it took the SP ten days to sail from Freo to Dubai.

We liked Civit, had 3 nights there one time pre Med Cruise/Transatlantic on Ruby Princess.

Very historic port town and some great little 'Mum & Dad' pizzerias in the side alleys. The real Italia.

All seems to be going well on Sea Princess. A friend of mine has just booked an inside cabin on Sea Princess for May 2017 'Worldie', Yikes, he is going solo @ $38,500. That is $370 per diem, Ouch. Even with $1000 obc and no additional gratuities, still way overpriced in my opinion.

I hope the infamous Bay of Biscay is kind to them.

Nice northern European itinerary for a WC.

One encounters some really strong deep swells in ye olde Bay of Biscay. All part of the adventure.

Belgium, very nice.

Indeed, last time we were there we did a trip to ye olde Western Front, very moving the War Cemeteries. A lot of interesting shorex from Zeebrugge.

No reports of Laundry Rage, yet, how sad.

Good shots posted...thanks....

It was too windy (or whatever) to go up the canal on the 2011 Dawn Princess World Cruise so just went straight to Bergen ....wonder if we will miss any ports on the way back to Oz...Easter Island sounds to be a hit or miss with swells etc. Meanwhile enjoying a good old Scottish summer....at least no rain today so far!

They sailed up the canal and into Rotterdam today...
