I am not a Bingo player, but yes, they do charge a 3% fee to charge casino play to your on-board account which would be the same as using your credit card. There are ATMs on the ships as well, but the fee(s) for that would be higher.

We are doing a transatlantic from Barcelona to Cape Canaveral. Will they accept either Euros or USD to gamble?

 

We typically play a pack for bingo where there are 4 games. Think Princess Bingo. Each pack has 3 cards per game. Does anyone know the cost of this (Euros vs USD)? We will have 10 sea days and are trying to plan ahead for this. Thanks for your help!

Just bring the cash you're willing to lose. Pay ANY percentage is losing right off the bat!

 

or just budget or make peace with the fee. If you download $100 it will cost you $3. If that fee works for you, don't sweat using your OB account to charge some funds for fun in the casino. You never know, you may win that $3 and more.

 

I was of the position of not wanting to pay the fee. However, one evening last cruise we were passing the casino and I didn't have any cash on me. I think I downloaded a total of $50 and my mother and I had a blast playing together and were able to make that money last a nice while. It was worth the $1.50 and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

If you put your room key into a slot machine and advance cash (i.e. charge it to your room account), the casino will charge you a 3% convenience fee.

 

If you charge your bingo cards to your room, there is no fee.

 

If you charge your Deal or No Deal or lottery pull tabs to your room, there is no fee.

A Black VIP player requires 35,000 casino points. That is $175,000 USD in slot machine play. Or 17.5 million pennies in slot play. Or $350,000 USD in video poker play.

 

Think about that the next time you see someone with a black player card stuck in a machine.

There's no 3% charge for bingo - it just goes on your onboard account.

 

That makes sense...that is the same way all the other cruise ships I've played bingo on. If NCL charged 3% I would have had a real problem with that.
