JW and Jerome's Adventure on The Norwegian Escape

Recommended Posts

I have to tell you of one of our favorite 5 day cruises. It was on The Carnival Victory. In our opinion, it is just a ship unlike any other sailing in Carnival's fleet, and we have been on them ALL!. The Casino on The Victory is wonderful. Lots of contemporary machines and it is much bigger than on even the larger ships sailing. It's an anomaly ship, as it has no sister ships sailing. We enjoyed the Victory and now it is doing routine shorties out of Miami. We are currently booked for the rest of the year, and don't want to throw off our Official upcoming 50th cruise schedule, but we will definitely be back on The Carnival Victory soon enough.

Well you just let me know and I will be there!

In the meantime I will be anxiously awaiting to hear about all of your troubles you get into.

There are exactly three people who are ecstatic that you are cruising on The Norwegian Escape. Me, Jerome and Andy Stuart, The Big Guy, The President and CEO at Norwegian Cruise Lines! (Oh there is a Bigger Guy, but he is just called Gawd at the Pier...........That is Frank Del Rio who is the Prez and CEO of Norwegian/Oceania HOLDINGS.......He is pretty terrific too). But Andy is the Main Man of NCL that I love.

Thank you so much! I am happy and look forward to you chiming in here, in exactly 96 days (I will give you a day to unpack) to then tell me all about it. Thank you also for being a valued member of Cruise Critic!

Ha! I'll post as soon as I can when we return. Thanks again for posting for all of us to follow along back at home.

"Soon Off To Sail The Ocean Blue, We Will Have Filet Mignon At Cagney's To Chew. Oh Lord, I've Lost My Shoe, Too Many Nights In The District With Brew. Some Say I Am A Bit Cuckoo, I say Who? Off To The Salon For A New Hairdo, To Shampoo and To Preview, And A Visit To The Spa To Renew. I Will Pose Like a Virtuous Statue, "How Nice You Look".........."Why Thank You". It's True, A Win In The Casino Is Long Overdue, But Then I'll Just Have To Pay Internal Revenue. I Hope Manhattan Serves Chicken Cordon Bleu, That's My Favorite Place For A Fun Rendezvous. When I Have Over Imbibed, Walls And Halls I Bump Into. Does Anyone Have Any Toilet Tissue? One Thing About The Escape Is Their Fabulous Crew, It's True, It's True, I Should Know, I Am The "Queen Of Service" Guru. Thank Goodness That This Cruise Is Almost Here, These Rhymes Will Be Over And Ya'all Can Say "Whew". So Off Into The Sunset We Sail, Loudly Proclaiming "And Toto Too!" Because As Of Today, We Have Only

I Remembered this review that was video produced for The Celebrity Reflection's Lawn Club Grill interactive restaurant. I wanted ya'all to see the kind of antics that a Martini Imbibed Auntie JW gets into on a JW and Jerome's Adventure sailing. JW, the least coordinated amongst us, learns to toss pizza dough. Oh Lord, just watch and enjoy!

Hey JW and Jerome

I just watched you review of NCL Escape. I was on Celebrity Equinox with you guys a couple years ago over Thanksgiving. I will be on NCL Epic March 2018. I noticed in your youtube you mentioned you had been on Epic and less than thrilled. Did you do a video of that trip? I looked and could not find it.

Thanks

Gary

OMG JW. You never cease to amaze me. I can't wait to see what trouble follows you on our next Es-cap-pay !!

I will be following along behind you (and no I am never trouble). I want to make sure that someone is able to document everything in an unbiased manner.

Cheers

Thank you JoJo! I am looking forward to going to Sunny Spice Carribe in Tortola next week as well. I love their new line of custom flavored Curry's and highly recommend their Steak Spice. My ultimate though is the Bloody Mary Spice. It is great to add to plain old V-8, but for me, I still need the vodka too!

I am glad you enjoyed your journey, I can't wait until tomorrow. I keep having to Tinkle! Thank you also for being a valued member of Cruise Critic.

JW and Jerome,

I can't wait until you get back from this next cruise to read your awesome stories. I must say I started following you just yesterday because of your cabin selection. My family and I have stayed in both cabins the same as you on the escape and we loved them. I just wanted to tell you Bon Voyage! We are coming back aboard on May 27th and will be just down the hall in cabin 8720 from where we were previously. Thank you so much for the entertainment!!

Hi JW and Jerome, I started following this thread last week as it will be our (my and the hubs) first time on the escape. We have been on the Breakaway 5 times and have never "flown" to a cruise before, so i am trying to get as much info about the Escape as possible. LOVING your review and can't wait to hear about the 3rd installment... I have a few questions:

1) We knew A LOT of the bar staff on BA, and have heard that some have moved to the Escape... Can you name any at Tobacco Road or Spice?

2) We sail on the Escape on April 8th (I teach and hate that we have to sail on school breaks :( but it is what it is) however, I just got my first ever CAS/Total Rewards certificate. Do you know if the points I accumulate on this upcoming sail will carryover to the next cruise? and FYI I am what you would describe as "the fixture" LOL?

Enjoy your latest cruise and looking forward to the rest of the review :D

Oh and PS - the Hubs is now determined to go to the Spice place in Tortola after our Jost Van Dyke adventure! Thanks for the info!!!
