Have never, never seen kids in DL

I have...many times. Some good kids...some not so good...some

out of control.

Two little boys on their own came into the DL on Freedom one night,

helped themselves to the happy-tisers and left with overflowing plates.

This after "tasting" them and putting back the bites they did not like.

 Yuck!! Super busy staff had to remove all of the plates of food

and replace them once some of the guests pointed this out.

Never saw the parents. :(

Unfortunate the diamond members were told to use their vouchers because the DL was full. Could have maybe phrased that differently. Let them get a drink and take it if no place to sit regardless of who was occupying the seats.

Hoping the concierge was trying his best to offer a solution since seats weren't available, but it wasn't perceived in that fashion due to contradictory published information and actual practice of children in the DL.

We might have grabbed a snack or two and headed to the nearest bar. I know I would not have gone to guest services to complain. That just takes too much time out of my cruise!;)

Regardless of their age and what they are classed as they are paying the same fare. A 3rd guest in a room pays the same whether they are 2, 12 or 42.

They pay the same fare for the room definitely for the 3rd/4th price regardless of age. However, 12 and above they are classed as an adult. Ie. If you book speciality dining it's an adult fee, if you book any excursions it's an adult price and so on.
