Best Beach in St Thomas?

We did Megan's Bay, and we're heading back February 2017. Any other good beach recommendations?. Looking for snorkeling and relaxation, don't need a lot of parasailing, wave runners, paddle boarding. Simple lounge chair and a spot to rent some find and a mask!

We really like Megan's bay for a beach day. The floor of the bay is grassy, so there isn't much in the way for fish for snorkeling. We brought our own gear and follow a sea turtle around the bay back in May. Nothing else too exciting.

We e done morning star, quiet, relaxing and not far from port.

Sapphire beach. :D

With Coral World right there, Coki Beach has very good snorkeling. There are a couple of vendors that offer food and beverage services.

Based on your requirements of a lounge chair and a place to rent snorkel gear the two best would be Coki Beach or Sapphire Beach.

Ditto..Sapphire beach is one of the prettiest beaches we have been to. You can snorkel right off the beach. Enjoy

We love Coki Beach. Not a lot of walking vendors, good food and drink.

Another vote for Sapphire Beach, but unless it's changed since we were last there, there are not any loungers for rent and only a small convenience shop to get drinks and snacks.

 

To others who have been there recently, is it more developed now? In one sense, that would be good as it would offer more. On the other hand, it would really take away from the secluded, pristine nature of the beach. When we went there were very few people on the beach with us.

Coki beach is going to be the #1 beach for snorkelling in st Thomas. As there is lots of coral and fish species there
