Hey everyone. I was going to continue with my review tonight, but I really don't feel well. As you all know, Mike hasn't felt well in a long time. Last week his doctor said he had bronchitis and ear infections. He broke a few ribs from coughing and then perforated his eardrum. A few days later, he has strep throat. Yay.:o

And for the past 2 weeks, on and off, Melissa was feeling crappy. She stayed home from school last Monday, went to school on Tuesday. She went to the nurse to tell her she wasn't feeling well but the nurse didn't believe her. By the time she came home she was miserable. She stayed home on Wednesday. Then we had snow days on Thursday and Friday. Back to school Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday she went back to the (different) nurse with ear pain. She came home early and off to the Dr we went. Guess what? She has an ear infection and upper respiratory infection. Antibiotics were prescribed along with puffers for her breathing. She stayed home again yesterday but went back to school today.

Luckily, we have no school for the next week, so it's 9 days off. Now that they are both getting better, it's my turn to feel under the weather.

If I feel up to it, I will continue posting a bit here and there. So sorry to keep you all waiting. I hope I don't have the flu. It just came on in the past few hours, like I was hit by a truck. This sucks.

I'll be back as soon as I feel up to it.

That's OK. Take care of yourself and your family first. I work at a school and everyone is so sick this month. Two different flu's going around. Couple of days ago I was so tired and felt like crap, thought everything was just catching up to me. I now have one of the worse cold/flu's I have ever had. But thinking of getting on Breakaway in less than 30 days keeps me going. And reading your review of course. :D:D:D

Amazingly it worked so we did have the time. Saw it and booked it on Thursday, sailed on Monday.

Because no single supplement We booked an IX and a BA for my wife and I. We used the balcony room but it was fun having a second room. So we had a room in close proximity to each bank of elevators.

Hi Greg (or should I say Craig lol). Please say hello to Biz for us--we enjoyed our time together. Sorry we didn't have a chance to get together for dinner. Hope all is well, Linda & Steve

I dropped Melissa off at Splash Academy and decided to walk around the ship for a while and take pictures for my peeps on Cruise Critic.

Ice Cream at O'Sheehan's. I saw lots of people having giant ice cream there but personally I never had it.

Sorry. I thought I would be able to post more tonight, but although I seriously doubt that I have the flu, just looking at the screen of my kindle is miserable.

I will try and post more tomorrow.

Be well! We are enjoying all your informative posts.

We returned to the room and found this on the balcony. They are constantly doing repairs on the ship.

The paint looks reddish-brown when it is wet and then it dries a different color. They wouldn't get the opportunity to repaint over the repairs during our sailing, but they said that they would do it during the next cruise.

If you've ever gone to Ocean Blue, you know that you walk past the Raw Bar. We waved Hello to Sandy.

They have the best bread at Ocean Blue.

By now it was 11pm and we needed to sleep. We were going snorkeling in St Kitts in the morning. Our friends got us hooked. :D

That's all for now. I have to upload the rest of the dailies and more pictures in the morning.

Hope you are still enjoying the review.

Hopefully on the St. Kitts day you were safely on board before the deluge arrived! I decided to head back out in the afternoon and ended up getting stuck out in it. There were a few drops following me as I made my way back to the ship, and it wasn't too bad. Unfortunately it grew super heavy very quickly. It was fun watching the Reflection sail away into the storm, with so many people out on their balconies in bath robes. Guess all those folks must have gotten as soaked as I did. I have to admit it was a little bit fun.

I'm late to the review but I'm LOVING it - as I did your previous reviews.

I am sorry to hear about your dad - and by the way that you, your hubby, and your daughter are all dealing with your own health issues soon. I hope you all recover soon.

My last cruise was the Breakaway to Bermuda with my nephew. Not having kids of my own I didn't know how much fun traveling with a 10 yr old boy would be but we allll had a blast. Seeing your daughter having so much fun on a cruise made me less worried and now I want to cruise with my nephew from now on!

I also have a niece that's only 2 at the moment but I know that I will experience a cruise with her sometime in the future and I'm also looking forward to it.

Thanks for mentioning that the Escape is coming to NYC next year. I've only cruised out of NY and have already been on the Breakaway twice - which I love but I can't do that cruise Forever so I'm exciting they're switching out ships!

First off, your dad and family's health are in my prayers. You certainly are dealing with a full load right now!

Secondly, THANK YOU for this exceptional review. We head on the Getaway next Sunday and this is just what I needed to read this week.

I look forward to following!
