Senior Frogs in Nassau Bahamas

I am going on Majesty to the Bahamas. I was thinking of going to senior frogs. Is the food good? What do you recommend. I am not a big drinker, I may have one. But, I will be going with a group and they wanted to check it out.

Food? They serve food? lol. Actually the Nassau location is the only one that we like the food in. It's a Mexican menu and we always eat lunch there when we are in Nassau. We'll be there in April and that's our only plan for Nassau this trip. We've been there so many times (including staying 5 nights at the Atlantis a few years ago) that we've done most of the sightseeing things.

We stay away from chains like Sr Frogs, Margaritaville, Hard Rock, ECT.

 

Look for something local....

Quintessential tourist trap. You will pay a lot of money for food there that is not authentic to the region. Think of it like going to Fridays but paying double.

We wanted to go there (hopefully next time) but we had limited time and this place opened earlier so we went there instead. It was very good, at least the cracked conch and ceviche was

My husband and I went there last time we were in Nassau. We had a drink and guacamole and chips. The guacamole was made at the table and was delicious. We sat at a table next to the water and enjoyed it.

Yes it is....

 

The waitress recommended it.....

 

It was one of their side dishes and it was fantastic.

We like going to the Greek Restaurant for lunch - Athena Cafe I think it's called. I know, Greek in Nassau sounds strange but it's really good and sitting on the balcony people watching is fun. We'll usually go to Senior Frogs for drinks and the good view of the ships.
