How do you carry your cruise card?

I guess I'm conditioned to carry a bag as I feel I need other items at my fingertips. On a cruise I need some cash, that card, sea sick pills, a tissue for sudden sneezes, something to moisten/color my lips, and the ever-present camera.

I put my cruise card on a lanyard for when I have clothes with no pockets or a purse. I just wrap the lanyard around my card and put it in my pocket/purse. Three ways in one.

I'm a former teacher but don't object to lanyards. They may not look great, but are useful.

I have the pouch on the lanyard to store my card and any cash (for tips) as well.

I keep it in my pocket normally. In the pool or at the beach, I keep it in one of those waterproof phone cases, so basically a waterproof lanyard. On the super-rare occasion I'm in a dress and have a little evening purse, it goes in the purse.

I've considered using a lanyard full time, but I'm not sure if I'm bothered to find the hole punch person (I gather on some ships, you can go to the casino or something to get it punched). And then I wonder what happens if I need to hand it to a bartender to run through the computer.

I bought a bright pink colored 'leather' cell phone case that closes and has slots for cards. I carry my cell phone as a camera... so its handy for my sign and sail, too. They bright color keeps it visible. At dinner, I carry a small purse. My husband uses a lanyard for keys at work, so I pretty much expect him to use one for his card, too.

I was just thinking about this today. None of my maxi skirts have pockets and I know for a fact my tank tops won't have them either. haha Guess I need to start looking for something!

That's why many use a lanyard.

I am not sure if you sea pass will deactivate being so close in the phone case.

Most ships sell the sparkly lanyards in their convenience store.

Thinking I might need one! Or a small cross body that can hold my glasses. Better start shopping! ;)

I also carry mine with my cell phone. My case (open face) has a tab that holds four cards and slides in and out of a pocket on the back. It has a lining to protect the cards. I always carry my drivers license, insurance card and bank card. On our cruise the seapass card was proud to take the open space. What I like about the case is that it is small enough to still fit comfortably in my front pocket and I have never had a problem with the phone messing up the cards. I rarely carry my traditional wallet now.

I think that is the key to having the card near the phone/camera.
